Disappointed that the owner doesn't uphold the same standard for his sales as he does for his own purchases. And disappointed in the lack of transparency when approached with facts. Owner was upset (on social media) that a truck he bought came damaged and he'd "never put it on his lot," but he sold a car with significant damage to a young man who was buying his first car and trying to get life started. And then when approached to make it right, he fell back on sold "as-is." He has the legal right not to repair the car, but ethically, it's bad practice. Sadly, he took advantage of a young kid who has been dealt a really bad hand his entire life and is trying to do the right things to support himself. It appears if he's making money on a sale, it's ok to sell damaged cars, but its not ok for someone to sell him a damaged vehicle. Quite the double standard. As a consumer, I cannot recommend a business owner that I know firsthand operates willfully unethical. I would caution anyone who is considering purchasing from him to get at least one outside maintenance inspection and negotiate a fair price for any identified damage, or go somewhere else altogether. read more
