I probably should have gone with my gut on this one but called them anyway. Their website says that they have a COMBINED total of 25 years in the industry. Since they were founded in 1997 (18 years ago), I should have done the math. They don't post ANY open jobs, so when you call the receptionist says to send them your resume, and IF you qualify they will then let you fill out an application. Wow. Qualify for what? What a way to alienate the potential candidate pool. Needless to say, I won't be sending them my resume. read more

They have the most repulsive representative with their organization. This lady was super extremely rude stating I'm an idiot for traveling to a job that is not in my vicinity. The choice is mine as to where to look for a job, no matter the distance. What's even worse is their operations representative dismissed my complaint about the 1st representative, and never contacted me regarding the end result. Personally to me that is extremely rude service to those looking for a job, especially to someone with 2 masters degrees! Word to the wise...do your research first!!! read more

Used this staffing agency several times over the last twenty years. Has an upfront process to narrow down your skills comparing to the jobs available. The connections created between the staffing firm and the employers are extremely strong as it showed when I arrived to my new work places. Consummate professionals and are very meticulous when breaking down your experience. I really felt like they were trying to help me and get my life back on track as expeditiously as possible. Well, they are either deceased or in a nursing home. It is not too had to look at my resume and guess my age. I never heard back from them and called 3 different numbers and emailed him. Nothing. Why on Earth would you do this? If I am not a good fit for the role then just tell me instead of getting my hopes up and leaving me hanging.

I was a few months into my job search. I was getting quick responses from several companies just based on my resume which was encouraging. I'd talk to the recruiter and they'd quickly pass me onto the next stage (interviews with the lead or team). I always felt they went well but didn't materialize into an offer. I had an opportunity at Capital One that I really wanted to nail so I called on Wilma who was referred to me by my husbands business networking group. When I knew Wilma and I were going to be spending an hour drilling mock interview questions, I was very nervous. But it was anything but. Shes incredibly thoughtful and direct, while also building up my confidence. She also provided a sheet of interview Qs to ask beyond the typical "why do you like working here". I asked everyone I spoke with the culture Q she shared -- "whose leadership style in the organization inspires you and why" -- and EVERY single person paused to say "that's a great question" before giving me very different responses which made me feel good about the company to hear great things about very different people at Capital One.
