Jarred was the first option that popped up in my search, and I asked for quotes from him as well as several other individuals and larger companies. He was the first to respond and provided me with a quote that matched others, but he was by far the most polite and professional of all the responses I received. Jarred also sent me something that no one else did - a contract. When I was reading reviews of other companies, it seemed like a lot of people would get to the site and up the price, so I felt confident in having a contract that would not happen. There was great communication throughout the entire process; he arrived on time and with the proper tools. I knew it was going to be a difficult job, but he handled it with ease. Please consider hiring Jarred over a large company.

They gave us a quote of 285 to move a bed and dresser and we even sent pictures. When it was finally scheduled and they arrived the owner said the price is actually going to be 385 because the bed looks heavy and if you want to move the pavers in the backyard that's an additional 285. We rescheduled our day to have this done and he was a colossal waste of time. In the end we found four other places within an hour who charge 250 to come the next day. BEWARE! Do not use this company- they are not on the up and up.

This was a complete move out of our family home in Livonia as we are relocating my elderly father to live near me in Washington, DC. My time in Michigan was very limited and I needed a thorough job done, so we could put the house on the market ASAP. Brad Abbott, the owner, is a great guy and Chuck It is truly a local, family-owned business. Brad took the time to make sure to accommodate my tight schedule by reserving the time and resources for multiple truck loads, as it was difficult to estimate exactly how much stuff there would be, being a move out. My parents had piled up a lot of stuff after 50 years in Michigan! Brad and Austin performed the job, arrived promptly, and were very thorough, They literally opened every single drawer, cabinet, closet, etc. as directed and emptied it out. They organized the loading such that anything that could be donated to charity was grouped separately from items destined for the landfill/recycling centers. It took THREE very full truckloads to empty the house: the basement, main floor, and 2nd floor. It was a very hot and muggy day to boot - Brad and Austin truly worked their tails off. I highly recommend Chuck it Junk Removal!

Communication was great- very friendly and responsive - and said they could be there the next day. It arrived exactly when they said it would. We filled the whole dumpster and still had some more debris in the basement, so we asked them for a quote to haul it away. They came by a few hours later, gave us the quote (reasonable) and started taking it away right then. They hustled the whole time and got it done quickly. Overall service was extremely friendly, felt very transparent and highly responsive and wanted to be helpful. We did our communication through Yelp and text, which was perfect for us.

I had this business out to do a quote on removing junk from abandoned stiff at a tenant's unit…read more First problem, he showed up with a small truck. Them because I am out of state he thought he would jack the price up ridiculously high. He wanted $750 per load removed and estimated around 7 truck loads. In that truck it would have been 10-12. The whole reason I paid the other tenant to open the door to provide a quote was for a set price. Not something where I could taken advantage of later. His estimated cost (which was low on truck loads) came in at $5250. Guess what I got it done for people? $1350. The other reviews are good, but I caution people to be wary of this business trying to take advantage of you during the process. I told them I found them on Yelp, do they actually think because someone is out of state that automatically you try to take advantage of them? Duh. I get several quotes.
