I called with the Groupon price to see if they'd price match without it. The owner said without seeing what I was trying to get rid of, he couldn't give a exact price. He did offer me a " deal" , a vendor's rate. I was desperate to clean out my storage unit that day, so I went with Trash it company. -Big Mistake Three guys show up, they use (2) 3 ft flat beds from my storage unit to clean out the old baby clothes, Barbies, books, and a baby stuff. $150.00 ??? For 15 minutes and 6 ft worth of junk ? Best part... they won't take my American Express or credit cards ? Only Cash ???? I demanded a receipt... the young man had a hard time getting the iPad to send me a receipt. I refused to leave without a receipt. He seemed iterated and made some sarcastic comment about him doing me a "favor" at this price .... I do have my house that I was going to use as a second time, I have decided to look up reviews and find a better competitive rate that will take credit cards and will give receipts. read more

I would highly recommend this company to anyone - they came by house on 2 occasions to assist with taking out a large, heavy, ancient safe that was left in my basement from the previous owners. There was a mix-up with our payment and when we brought that to their attention they immediately rectified the situation. They ripped up our check, sent us a picture to verify and then charged us the Groupon rate that we thought we were getting. Where do I begin with how great of a service I received from this company. All around 6 stars if I could. Very courteous guys came into my house and told out a piano and an old couch (which I thought was going to take an hour or so) in about 15 mins. Quite honestly they deserve a 0. I used this service just recently. I called groupon and purchased it. In fine print it had a 5 mile radius which is a trap to rip people off knowing most customers would not be in the radius, 5 MILES. SO THEY WILL DRIIVE AROUND THE BLOCK?! HA, NO THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. The man Sam was quick to suggest me to stick with his company, call groupon get a refund. We talked about how much stuff I had. He then told me "this would me a much better deal because it sounds like I have much more than the 4 cubics yards". He then said he would send a larger industrial truck and charge me $125 to $175, more likely on the 125 side. I said it's more than I wanted to spend but I have to get this junk out of here. They arrived an hour late. I had 3 men to help me load the truck, and everything was ready near the front yard. The two men saw how much I had and at no time did they suggest the price could be $400 to $600 dollars. Until the truck was loaded. I called Sam and he said he told me he went down the price chart and how the trucks are quartered out, that it starts at 250 to 450 for 1/2 truck to 600 for full. He told me on the phone EXACTLY $125 no more than 175. If I would have heard $400 I would have figured out another plan. He prays on people like myself. He would not work with me or bring the price down anywhere close to his quote. Sam is a liar and thief with 0 morals.Sam sent two men that by no mistake were very intimidating looking. I am sorry but I would have been nervous if I was there alone.I don't judge normally but I people should know for the sake of the elderly, teenage children moving, single woman like myself would be scared by the way they acted when I was upset. I didn't have the money, my friends helping had to help me pay or the movers said they WOULD DUMP IT OUT ON MY YARD and Sam said the same. I dont have to use there removal 1-888 traSHIT company. In other words drag it all back out on to my yard. The company have zero morals and are dishonest . Please becareful especially if you are a woman, attractive, elderly, using a removal co. to help your elderly parents or have children. I had an awful experience with this company yesterday and I see there haven't been any reviews on them in several months so I'll share my experience. I called for an estimate of removing a couch, entertainment center, 2 dressers, coffee table, a full sized captains bed, queen head and foot board. The estimate was said to be a rough estimate but around $200-250. The drivers arrived and within a few minutes had the final cost at $500. Mind you none of these items are extreme examples of furniture in fact the dressers are kids dressers. I was upset but needed to have at least some of the furniture removed they removed the coffee table, queen head and foot board and the full sized captains bed. The charge was $274. It's only a day later I realize that was a huge mistake they saw I was a single mother with two young girls and I was packing what I could in my car and cleaning while they were there and they took advantage of my situation. Three guys came to clear out a lot of junk and garbage left by our last tenants at our rental property. They were polite and efficient. There was a lot of nasty junk... including some overflowing garbage cans and old disgusting food in the refrigerator.
