Such great customer service, amazing food and HUGE drinks!!…read more My husband and I came here because the lady at the front desk said she wasn't a fan. Andddd we love going to places to contradict what others have to say about places. First off, their chips and dips (there's a large amount to choose from) is amazing. My husband ordered that and two empanadas (beef) and garbanzo bean bites. I never tried the empanadas but my husband couldn't stop eating the two he ordered hahah!! We then ordered burritos!! YES YES YES!! My husbands vegetarian one was stuffed with rice, loads of veggies and cheese. My beef one (gordito burrito) was jammed pack with beef, veggies and cheese!! It was sooo delicious!! The staff was AMAZING! My daughter started to cry and a few staff members kept coming around the corner to play with her! Which was really sweet. The manager even gave her a toy which she absolutely loved. Btw their "large drinks" are MEGA LARGE so be careful while ordering and specify the size

If you're American, you'll be very disappointed. Music is not Mexican but clubby and obnoxiously…read moreloud. Drinks outrageously priced at 15 Euro. Chips are not fresh... right out of a bag, and not good. Salsa tastes like ketchup. Guac has been whipped into near mousse like consistency (yuck) and is most definitely extracted from a gallon size food service bag. Nothing traditional about any of the food, but rather a Euro interpretation of what they think Mexican food is like. Tres Amigos fajitas were the least offensive item we ordered, and that's not an endorsement. The portion was OK, but it was a bit heavy on the veg to meat ratio. Chicken and beef and shrimp were marginal and most certainly previously frozen. Fajitas come with three definitely not warm or homemade tortillas right out of a plastic bag. More tortillas is an extra charge, but you won't even want the three they give you. There is about a tablespoon of forgettable tomatoey rice buried under the veggies. Veg was almost right but should not include zucchini. I doubt any real Mexicans live or work in the German Alps. It was about as regrettably poor as I expected, though I had truly hoped I might be pleasantly surprised. You will not find any cilantro or wonderfully crisp and salty, freshly fried tortilla chips glistening from the fryer basket that you can't stop eating before your meal here. You will not have any beautifully grilled and smoky, well seasoned meats with delightfully charred edges here. The salsa will make you cry and has no serrano pepper or grilled tomatoes or purple onion or lime or cilantro, and it will be served in quarter cup size ramekins. There is not a delightfully smoky cup of refried in lard pinto beans anywhere on this magazine-thick abomination of a menu. There is literally nothing fresh or authentic in this place. You're in the German Alps, have a sausage or kebap or something the Germans do reasonably well. This is a chain that is phoning it in and solely in business to separate Americans from their euros. Please, don't even think about it. Wait til you get home to LA or Austin or NYC or any other city in the U.S. I guarantee it will be worth the wait. You can thank me later. There is a wonderful little Greek spot called Alekos in Garmisch. Spend your money where they care about what they're serving.

It's called a Mexican restaurant, but alas, it is not. Because we're nowhere close to Mexico! What…read moredo you expect, they don't use the same flavors or spices or whatever Mexican people use to make their perfect enchiladas, quesadilas, tacos, because they don't have them! But hey, at least they're trying. I shouldn't even talk because I know more about Tex-Mex than Mexican. Anyway, we tried their Macho Macho Nachos. The tortilla chips were covered in beans, some salsa and a heaping helping of cheese, and they had been sitting there a while. So long that all the chips had kinda turned into a big tortilla blob. It was all very greasy from the cheese. So, it's not your typical Mexican restaurant, but it's cool that they're actually educating people on what quesadilas and fajitas are! I'd give them 3 stars, because I'm not actually expecting authentic Mexican food in Switzerland and I didn't try anything else, but the wait was ridiculously long. And it shouldn't take that long to throw some chips, salsa, and cheese on a plate. Es ist eines interesantes Restaurant. Ich weiss, dass mexikanische Essen und Kaese ist teuer, weil sie weit sind. Aber, das Essen war nicht gut, und wir hatten zu viele Zeit zu warten.

US-Mex is an okay restaurant. In St. Gallen, where just about all the restaurants are very much…read moreoverpriced, US-Mex is less so. So that's good. The selection on the menu is big, and my girlfriend loved the nachos. Of course, she's never had nachos before. I found them too soggy, and the tortilla chips didn't have much flavor. She enjoyed her Caesar salad, but I found my enchilada supremely underwhelming. Now, perhaps this is more of a place for going out drinking. I really don't know. Probably not great for beer, as a bottle of Bud costs 6.50 here. And they don't even have the decent local beers. The service we got was similarly eh. All the waiters reek of smoke since they seem to be outside smoking more often than they're inside working. I would give this place 2.5 stars, I guess, if I could... it's not horrible, but I wouldn't be back again. Oh well, I guess the joke's on me -- I went to a TexMex restaurant in Switzerland.
