We've been back to both the drive-thru and dine in a few times and I think they've gotten some of their systems down a bit better. I still would like the ability to see a screen with the order numbers while on the patio since we prefer to sit outside. We have noticed the staff are much more attentive and appreciate this! No more asking for drink cups. We both ordered salads recently (we'd previously only ordered them through the drive-thru) and I was a bit confused that they weren't tossed with the dressing. With the thickness of the dressing it was really challenging to shake it up in the bowl so it would be one bite with no dressing and one with way too much. Not sure if we missed something in the ordering process but I'll make sure to ask for them dressed in the future! Overall, we're happy to keep supporting this spot! read more

We tried Birdcall on the recommendation from a long time Denver resident. We really liked it. There are a lot of great menu options combined with a fun atmosphere. I couldn't help but order tater tots, largely because I haven't had them in a long time and partially because they seemed like they were step above what you might get elsewhere. I certainly wasn't disappointed. read more

First time here. Adrian assisted us with his recommendations on the menu. They were spot on. Dani supported me with retrieving the order. She was pleasant and made certain I understood what was what! Michael checked on our satisfaction with the overall experience. He made sure we were pleased; we were! We'll be back. Loved it! Far better than the average fast food restaurant. Cool venue, too. Thanks again, Bill read more

Bad customer service. Asked for sandwich without pickles and it tasted like pickles and could see imprint on bun, they just picked them off and gave it to me. read more

Brandon was great. Place was clean. Took about 5-6 minutes to get our food after we ordered. The rose Margarita was great! Much better than what was expected for "fast food". The chicken nuggets were sweeter than I like, but they are still good. Has crunch ice! read more

I've doordashed Birdcall a few times and they've been great, but they're much crispier when made fresh and ready to go in person! Our server was super kind and patient with our millions of questions and indecisiveness. Eventually, I ended up with the Rancher. I thought it was good! Flavorful and cures any chicken sandwich cravings. My friend really enjoyed the Nashville Hot and said it was way better than the Rancher haha All in all, pretty good! read more

Went here for lunch today. Never been to one of the Birdcall restaurants before. Ordered a regular grilled chicken sandwich. When it came out, the bun was cold and the chicken was maybe warm. NOT IMPRESSED! Sent it back and within 2 minutes, she came back out, hot chicken and cold bun. the fries were good. I will not be back, as I could get a chicken sandwich just like that with more flavor for less money! read more

Oh Birdcall... I forgot how darn good you are! I haven't had it in a few years and this was my first time to this location but it was still as good as I remembered. It's dangerous knowing they have a drive thru because I work close by. I got their southern sandwich with tots and it travelled well back to work! The pimento cheese spread is really what does it for me on the southern sandwich. The tots must be new because I don't remember them from the rino location we used to frequent. They were nice and crispy with a soft center and I love their seasoning! read more

This location has gone downhill. Came in for lunch today and purchased a 10 piece nuggets. Not only were they all cold, some were undercooked entirely. The rest were small thin "pieces" of almost entirely breading that a reasonable person would not consider a "nugget". Hardly seemed like 10 pieces were even in the box. Real hit and miss on the quality control here lately, this is not the first time recently where the food has been cold or subpar. Employees are nice enough but either aren't paying attention in the kitchen or don't care enough to inspect the food they serve. read more

This is THE chicken sandwich spot! Their meat is tender, fresh, and crispy! We love the rancher (pictured below). Careful with their hot sandwich, they aren't playing with the heat! Birdcall - The Rancher Sandwich with some tots (we got drive thru this time, still great at home!) - Chicken Shop Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The chicken sandwich game has gotten competitive lately with not only your fast food options like Chick-fil-a and Popeyes but lots of places in the Denver area to get a chicken sandwich. I've heard people rave about Birdcall so I finally had to check it out. As for the food, it didn't meet my expectations. The sandwich had good flavors but the chicken was too heavily breaded for my taste and the fries were soggy instead of snappy. The location is very cute though and has a great system indoors where you can order from kiosks and take a good look through everything before making your order. This location also has a drive-thru which makes it pretty convenient for on-the-go pickup. read more

Good food for the price. We ordered the southern, the Cesar and the classic sandwiches with fries and one Peanut butter Oreo shake. The breast were cooked well but a little over done; however we were pretty hungry when our order arrived. The food tasted fresh, freshly made despite the delivery to the wrong address through no fault of the restaurant. I will definitely dine here in the future but in the restaurant. The salad selection looked tasty and would like to try their specialty dishes. read more

Picked this up for lunch and tried their original ($6.95), Nashville hot ($7.50) chicken sandwiches, fries, tater tots, and 2 shakes ($5.95 each). I had the original chicken sandwich and it was a little dry compared to other chicken sandwiches I've had but it was good with some added sauce. The fries were a little on the salty side and we couldn't really taste the seasoning on the tater tots much but they were definitely crispy which I like. The shakes were also pretty good too but a little on the pricey side for my taste. Even though I got a pick up order, the customer service was still pretty great! Since this is so close to work, I'd probably go here again when I'm craving a chicken sandwich! read more

So the setup of Birdcall was confusing to me at first because when I walked in, there were legitimately 30-40 People standing around. You go inside and order on the touch screens on the north side of the counter. The guy behind the counter was super informative and helpful when I had questions. I tried the Nashville Hot and decided to go Extra Hot. It was no joke! Burned my face half off, I was impressed. Once our food was ready, they placed our food in a Bay and a screen showed which order was ours. The system is interesting but streamlined, and the food was good. Wasn't a huge fan of the brussel sprout salad but I look forward to using their drive thru option and trying their other appetizers sometime. read more

Well Denverites - I have found my new favorite chicken sandwich! We ate at the new Birdcall in Cherry Hills Village off of Hampden & needless to say, we're going to be regulars at this 100% all-natural chicken hot spot! Birdcall is a fast casual restaurant with dine in, take out & drive through options available to customers. We decided to dine in as Birdcall in Cherry Hills Village has the cutest outdoor patio that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. It's nice and airy with white tables, striped umbrellas and lots of potted plants lining the interior & exterior of the patio. Upon arrival, we went inside and placed our order on one of Birdcall's touchpads (you can also order from your cell phone). After ordering, we picked out a table on the patio, sat down and waited for our order to be ready. Once our food had been prepared, Birdcall shot us a text that we could grab it from inside. The whole ordering process was incredibly easy & efficient! For sandwiches, we had the Deluxe which is made with all-natural crispy chicken, bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, and buttermilk herb mayo (You can swap out crispy chicken for grilled chicken or tofu if desired. You can also sub a gluten-free bun or lettuce wrap). YUMMO. The Deluxe Sandwich was amazing; it had a great flavor profile thanks to its toppings paired with a good sized chicken patty. The scrumptious, crispy chicken was salty on the outside and juicy hot on the inside. The buttermilk herb mayo had a cool tang that was pretty much love at first taste. Ross and I were taken aback by how good this sammy was - it was a 10/10! We loved it & it's hands down our new favorite for chicken sandwiches. We also got extra sauces for our sandwiches & sides for dipping - the Birdcall Sauce & Nashville Hot. We recommend both; specifically the Nashville Hot if you're looking for some heat! For sides, we had the Tater Tots & Fries. The tots were crispy, textured on the outside & creamy on the inside - Ross inhaled the tots! I didn't even get to take a picture before he ate them all lol. The Fries were also really good; subtley salted with soft, warm fluffy interiors. For salads, we had the Chop Salad. The Chop Salad is made with romaine, bacon, egg, cheddar, cucumber, tomato, and blue cheese vinaigrette. The Chop Salad was a great size and was loaded with fresh ingredients! The romaine lettuce was crispy, tomatoes juicy, & bacon crunchy. The blue cheese vinaigrette was tangy with bold flavor from the blue cheese and balanced with a dash of garlic and vinegar. Birdcall's salads are great options for those looking for something lighter for their meal. The Birdcall staff was lovely during our lunch - they made sure we had everything we needed & that we were enjoyed our food. For shakes, we had the Oreo Cookie. Creamy & delicious! The oreos were ground up well and there were bits of the yummy chocolate cookies in every sip. If you're looking to get a buzz on, Birdcall serves alcohol & you can get vodka added to your shake! Yes please. Birdcall also has a full Tequila Bar with numerous specialty Margaritas, beer options with drafts, growlers, and cans & wine. read more

I have a new favorite chicken spot! This bird all location was super thought out. The space, seating, bar and patio are well designed and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly and the food is fantastic for a fast casual place. I had the rancher chicken sandwich, it had a lot of flavor, the bacon was amazing and the chicken moist. The southern chicken sandwich was great too but the bun was a bit crumbly and caused some mess. The kids meal is a crazy awesome deal. Chicken nuggets or tenders, with choice of fries, tots or fruit with a drink or a shake! So many fries!!! Such a good chocolate shake!!! The kid was super full! All in all, very happy to have Birdcall in the neighborhood! read more

BirdCall is a really great place to get your quick chicken sandwich fix! My favorites are the Nashville Hot and the Chicken Cesar. Also love that I get the option to choose Tater Tot's or French Fries. It's like an "elevated" Chick-fil-a but with more exciting options! They also serve cocktails which calls for points in my book. Cool chicken place! Modern design 4 ways to get your food ordered. 1.QR code from your table. 2. Drive through 3. Park in their assigned parking spots and order from your car via QR code 4. Walk in and order from the IPAD station Nice and spacious inside and outside seating. Dog friendly outside. Drive through has two lanes, which makes for very efficient lunchtime rush. I'm addicted to the fresh food. Chicken sandwiches, salads and two types of chicken tenders/nuggets. I fell in love with the nuggets. They are dairy and gluten free!!! The chicken is all natural. The side salad is really full of vegetables and you can add more for a small fee. The ginger dressing is delicious! Siracha dipping sauce for the nuggets is my favorite choice! So happy a place like this opened near me. I've been here 4 times in one week. read more

Nothing but good things to say about this place! The food: Fantastic! We each ordered a simple chicken sandwich and loved it. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I love the fun sauces to try. The location: it's a hip place inside and they also have curbside pickup and drive thru. The staff was sooo helpful, they offered to bring us more sauces, napkins and anything else, so more than a fast food vibe. The atmosphere is fun, the bathrooms are clean, outdoor and indoor seating. The chicken that is served is all organic, & antibiotic free. It's prepared countless, clever ways. There are sandwiches, salads & sides & between the four adults and two children, we sampled a number of items. Sides included very tasty tater tots. I had a delicious Chicken Sandwich. Sandwiches have a choice of fixings and from scratch sauces. Everything was fresh, the proper temperature and tasty. There are fountain drinks & there are also several cocktails available at reasonable prices. Since our three old granddaughter behaved herself, she was allowed to play the Pac-Man video game with her daddy. Practical, comfortable and fun for all ! So frustrating -- walk in and there's a huge group of older folk who are puzzling over the ordering tablets. I felt bad for them, but one staff person finally makes their way out of the back to try and help them. Now, on the other hand, we ordered online, and the board says it's ready. So confidently walk to grab the order and... err... ummm... nada. Now, of course, there's no one to talk to or ask about it, as the one staff person out front is busy for the next 15 minutes helping with the ordering tablets. I can see 5-6 people in the kitchen, but they are studiously avoiding any eye contact, as does the person who finally comes out to fill napkin dispensers. One other waiting person grabs her, so after 10 more minutes get to ask her about my order. She seems bamboozled. She slooowly makes her way to the back, asks someone about, and after another 5 minutes they give us our order. Jesus. What... the... f... Never again. read more

Ordering: You place your order inside the restaurant using a touchpad. It always strikes me as lazy and just not very welcoming when restaurants do this, but in addition, it was stressful for me because I didn't have my reading glasses with me and the font wasn't big enough. I needed my friend to help me place my order. When my friends' orders came out, they were brought to our table out on the patio, but when my order came out, it wasn't brought to me. It was placed on a counter (inside the restaurant, to the left of the touchpads) - too far away for me to see it from our patio table. Thank goodness for able-sighted friends! Between the touchpad ordering and the fact that you can't count on the staff to bring your food out to you, I wouldn't come here alone, since I'm visually impaired. (To be clear, I have no issues going alone to traditional restaurants where you sit at a table, someone takes your order, and then they bring your food to your table. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!) Patio: Adorable and cozy, like having dinner in the backyard at a friend's house. The perfect spot to sip a margarita on a hot summer evening. Food: My friend was not impressed with the amount of chicken he got in his sandwich. He said Chick-fil-A gives you more chicken. I had the veggie sandwich and I loved it - a huge piece of crispy tofu, peanut slaw, cilantro, and sriracha aioli. The flavors work really well together! I also had a margarita, which was huge and very strong. The shaved brussels sprouts salad was a tad bland. I'll go with fries next time. read more

One thing I love about Birdcall is that they give back a percentage of their profits to a local organization near each of their stores. Another interesting fact about the Cherry Hills location is that it is the only one to offer their delightful margaritas. Whenever I visit, the staff welcomes you in, helps you at the order kiosk if you need it, and the food comes out fast and delicious. This location offers an open floor plan with high ceilings and a great patio (which seemed to be getting a makeover when I went. I was so excited to try this place. I ordered the Southern Chicken sandwich, tots and the hibiscus tea. Very disappointed in the sandwich when I got half way through the chicken tasted rubbery and was gross so disappointed. I give 2 stars for the 2 items that I could eat and drink.
