It's the best sandwich around, hands down. The bread is what sets it apart. It comes out toasted golden and crisp on the edges, but still soft inside. They don't skimp on the fillings either. Tender chicken and melted cheddar are baked right in, then it's piled high with fresh lettuce, ripe tomato slices, thin-cut red onion, and a long pickle laid across the top. A sprinkle of parmesan and seasoning finishes it off. Every bite has crunch, flavor, and freshness.

I am very happy to report its just as good in Denver as it was in Portland. Food we ordered: A Wreck: A meaty fan favorite! Turkey breast, hickory smoked ham, Angus roast beef, salami, swiss. I go sans ham and fully loaded including the best topping the hot peppers. Chips: Zapp's Voodoo potato chips they have a good variety of Zapps but i find them to be lacking compared to say Miss Vickies or even the regular Common Doritos/Lays. We did go with Salt and Vinegar and BBQ both were just OK. Soup: Vegetable Soup which was very good, easily the best sandwich shop soup by far, hearty hot and tasty. Drinks: Oreo Milkshake - To die For this is a must have! Creamy thick and delicious Dessert: We tried the Chocolate Chip cookie and it was amazing as well soft chewy and delicious. Prices are about as expected for a sandwich shop. They do get very busy and have a lot of pickup orders. The staff was friendly and helpful, they accommodated the specifics on the order.

I must say... it deserves it's recognition. The Banh Mi here is excellent! I got to try the LEMONGRASS GRILLED PORK. The pork is well marinated with a slightly sweet taste. There is a good amount of meat inside. It typically comes with cilantro & jalapeños inside which you can always opt out. But I feel like the sauces & veggies inside paired so well together. The bread is super crunchy that you will be in a bread crumb mess afterwards. But, it's all worth it because it tastes great. My friends all loved it here. For a traditional Banh Mi experience, I would totally recommend this spot. Ordering is super easy. There is a machine in which you can order & pay through there or go straight up to the counter. The food will be ready fairly quick so you can be in & out within a few minutes. And there is a parking out front. So, there is no reason not to try this place.

Banh Mi Station sits close to the DU campus. Inside, there are a few tables and cafe-like chairs. You can order from a person or order on the automated machine. Service was great and our food came out in record time. They have more to offer than just sandwiches as well. Rice and noodle bowls are also in the menu. The staff is friendly and helpful and the menu has a good variety of Cuban foods. We ordered at the counter, found a table, changed tables due to too much air conditioning near the back, and settled in. The menu has salads, appetizers, plates, wraps, desserts and a bar. Our food was brought out to the table and was steaming hot. My sandwich was actually a little greasy on the outside so I had to blot it. But it was delicious and very authentic. I had the black beans and yucca fries as my side and they were also very good. One of my friends had the chicken sandwich and said it was very good but the bread could have been toastier. We also shared a basket of completely addictive fries with garlic mojo. Those also left some puddles of grease on the bottom of the basket. I think that, because they were so busy, they just weren't draining the fried foods before serving them. Anyway, I would like to go back to try more of these authentic items - and leave room for Cuban coffee and dessert.
