I cannot recommend Brian highly enough. I called him to fix my adjustable bed before I had surgery…read moreand was required to sleep in a reclining/sitting position. After listening to the 'symptoms', he advised me to first contact the company to see if they would send parts before he made his initial visit and charged a consultation fee. Saving me money even before I officially became a customer. The company sent the more commonly 'breakable' parts. We scheduled an appointment based on the delivery date and I arranged for my husband to be home to help move the king size mattress. The day before the planned repair, my husband's work schedule changed and he could not be available. I called Brian to see if we would need to reschedule but he said we'd keep the original appointment and he would find a helper. He arrived promptly the next day and worked through trouble-shooting the electronic parts sent. Unfortunately the problem turned out to be one of the motors which is rare. He called the company and arranged for the motor to be shipped to my home. It arrived at 2:00 PM the day before my surgery. I called Brian and he said that if I were able to call after I got home the next day from surgery, he would work me into his schedule. I called him around 11:00 and he came at 4:00 and had my bed working in 30 minutes and I could use my bed the night of surgery. Brian is dependable, reliable and provides extraordinary service.

What began as an internet search for a bariatric lift chair eventually led me to No Excuse Medical…read more I'll explain: Upon selecting the chair that I wanted I then set out to get the best deal. I received quotes from some of the major distributors and immediately read their reviews. Shockingly in their reviews at least two of the people that submitted reviews had mentioned No Excuse Medical and the very favorable experience they had. Having nothing to lose, I decided to give them a call. Not only did No Excuse Medical match the lowest bid I was able to obtain but also saved me a considerable amount on a 5 year home warranty I purchased. Also, and most importantly they had my chair at my home within 7 days! I can't say enough good about my experience with No Excuse and would HIGHLY recommend them.

I called to rent a scooter for a trip to Biltmore, N.C. the recommended place was not yet open…read moreafter Hurricane Helene. I spoke to Ashley who was lovely. I explained when I needed it delivered to my hotel exactly. it didn't arrive, I called Brandon was absolutely rude, said " I couldn't read your mind about when you wanted it. what do you expect." I told him it was on the order exactly. He agreed to deliver it. We drove it to the bus at the curb. it never started again. We left it at hotel, asked Brandon to come. He came, replaced battery , I asked him to wait 15 minutes until I got to hotel to demonstrate how to use it. He refused. He responded to my complaint "This ain't no valet service. I can't stand around here. The next morning (it remained plugged in all night). It ran long enough to put on bus, but when we got to Black Mountain it wouldn't start. Following his instructions my bus driver removed and reset the battery to no avail. I asked Brandon to come get it and bring another cart. He says he returned to hotel and it was working fine. I said obviously we need instruction on using. He refused. So I paid for 2 days, never got to use it. He agreed to refund half (one day) rental. I think it is time to call American Express for assistance. I don't recommend this business.

OK, this is in part in response to the other reviews--which seem a bit unfair to me. Yes, the place…read moreis hard to find. Yes, they have weird hours. Yes, the owner could be friendlier and more helpful. Yes, the prices are a bit marked up. BUT, at least the place exists. If you or someone you love is in need of some of these supplies in order to stay at home after an injury or due to old age, then this place is great to have nearby. Sure, you can order most of this stuff online for cheaper, but here you can look around and actually hold the supplies before spending money on them. And you may see other things that would be helpful as well. As far as returns, I bought a basket for a walker that didn't work out and had no problem returning it (exchanged it actually). I hope this place stays in business, because caring for an elderly neighbor is going to have me coming back, I'm sure.

There is no up to date Point of Sale system. They literally wrote my credit card number down on a post-it. Rental was broken- We rented a scooter for my husband who broke his foot. The scooter was broken and welded back together. The clerk didn't know how the scooter folded up (to fit in a car) and had no interest in helping me figure it out. Difficult to return equipment- Odd office hours. I was charged extra because I couldn't get by when they were open to return the scooter. When the clerk called on the last day of the rental, I told her I had tried to return it and the store was closed (during normal business hours) and I was met with attitude and additional charges.

I had to go through them to get my CPAP and supplies. 3 months in - I needed to order my first round of replacement supplies and it was such a painful process that took MULTIPLE phone calls and wasted so much of my time. The mask set they gave me (brand new) with my machine only 3 months ago was suddenly "discontinued" so I couldn't order a new one and they refused to send me a fit-pack so I could find an alternate that worked. So as a new CPAP user, I got used to the one they provided me with and suddenly I have to go with a different one all over again. 3 times I spoke with someone and they said "I will look into this and call you back" and I never got a call back. When I would take it upon myself to reach out again - I would get a completely different answer and be pushed off to a "return call" again. Finally, when someone actually found me a mask that would work, it just so happened this was days after my insurance annual renewal so suddenly I was having to pay out-of-pocket for the supplies because my deductible renewed. This felt VERY intentional as if I was dragged on and on so that they would get to my renewal date and charge me full price. I ended up ordering supplies for SO much cheaper online from a different CPAP company altogether. I will NOT be ordering supplies through Liberty again. That's not all! I was told once everything was processed with my insurance that I would expect a monthly payment charge for the machine itself. I looked at my bank account and see I was charged on April 19th, May 22nd and then suddenly charged AGAIN on June 7th. When I called to get clarification on my billing dates I was essentially told "we just bill once insurance processes it but we have no control" so telling me I am just going to be randomly charged $75.00 with absolutely no schedule and no consistency? That is just horrible business practices. I don't care how long "processing" takes, I have a hard time believing there is no way to control when you bill someone. I am incredibly frustrated but forced to work with them because BCBS determines the company. IF you have a choice - do NOT go with them.

They delivered back to me a BROKEN one I called the company where I got my disability scooter for repair. They were nice enough to make arrangements to come pick it up from my home. However I could not be there so I asked them to pick it up from my sisters shed (Who lives only around the corner). They had no problem doing this. Fast forward=== Weeks go by and I hear nothing from them. I call a few times, and they have no idea where this thing is. They remember picking it up, they have all the information serial numbers etc. Lots more time and they still can't find it. About 3 monts pass and they finally locate it in their wearhouse somewhere. They now deliver me a scooter that is not mine, is not repaired, and in fact is broken. Short end of a long story is they were supposed to pick up a 2 year old PRIDE scooter to which they had the serial #s and all. When they finally traced the serial numbers from the broken scooter they delivered we found out they picked up my sisters OLD METTIC by mistake. I had no reason to look in her shed, so had no idea they picked up the wrong one. ONLY when they gave me the name that matched the serial number did I put things together. Well after having it in their wearhouse for months they admitted it was their fault, appoligized and promised to send me a brand new scooter. 3 weeks later I hear nothing and call to ask what is going on. NOW I am told they changed their minds. No new scooter, and too bad that they destroyed my sisters that THEY took by mistake. All this time I was renting scooters. NEVER asked them for a refund. I tried to resolve this nicely with them. I offered just fix what you broke. Replace the chair like you promised. Just give me something safe. NOTHING!! The final answer from them wes TOO BAD
