Our founder, the late Dr. Ringold, started Bionicc Body Screening after his grueling battle with late stage cancer. One day he discovered he had stage four non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with hundreds of tumors in his chest and abdomen after experiencing shortness of breath at work. He endured brutal treatments and suffered cruel side effects. He envisioned a better way for others to avoid the same physical and emotional hardships. In his final days, Dr. Ringold passionately advocated for the use of full body MRI screenings, a proactive approach he believed could empower individuals to take control of their health.
At Bionicc Body Screening, we believe in proactive health management. Symptoms usually mean a disease has already progressed, but with early detection through MRI, intervention can happen sooner, often with less invasive treatments and better outcomes.
Meet the Manager: Ryan R.
This business was founded by my father, the late Dr. Ringold, after he battled cancer -- twice. He was a partner in an MRI center where he began working after he retired from family medicine. He became short of breath one day and discovered he had stage four cancer with tumors as big as softballs silently growing inside his body. His treatments were brutal, but his cancer went into remission, only to return a year later as a brain tumor. He entered a drug study as patient number one and became the longest survivor on record with his specific cancer. Around that time, he learned of MRI full body screenings being done outside of Michigan. He realized his own MRI machine could have detected his cancer in stage one before experiencing symptoms. He believed full body MRI screenings could give others control over their health, avoiding the pain and suffering he endured. His end of life mission was to offer this proactive service to families of Michigan, so he founded Bionicc Body Screening.
