I brought this to the…read moreattention of the nurse on duty, and he assured me the remaining 60 would be sent to my account that day, but only 20 additional dollars were uploaded to my account. I should also mention that it's their policy that if they prick you, they pay you. So, I called, explained the situation, and the supervisor was very rude and argued with me, saying since I wouldn't go to my other arm, that was all the money I would receive. I explained to her that I wasn't in the condition to move to my other arm. I was visibly sweaty and extra sensitive to the lights in the room. On top of that, the blood was filling up where they stuck the needle under my skin, making a bubble, and I was in pain. After explaining this to her, she wouldn't budge, so I asked to talk to another supervisor. She huffed, then agreed, but forgot to mute me and told them I was yelling at her, to which I replied, "Yelling is a very strong word." She then muted me, and all they did was add an additional 20 dollars, making the total I received 60. I'm so annoyed that I didn't even call back, but I will more than likely never go back and will most definitely not recommend this place to friends. It's not worth dealing with the rude staff, and for people working in healthcare, they sure are bad at helping people and sticking needles.

I think it's a great cause to support but…read moreafter the entire process of checking vitals, blood prick, computer assessment, seeing the nurse for paperwork and standing in line that went down the building (3 hours) when I was finally up to donate, one of the techs who was a VERY hostile woman looked me up and down sizing me up with a look on her face that was far from welcoming then sat me down. She then rudely grabbed one of my arms while grimacing looking at it then looked at the other judgmentally. She turned me away after looking at my veins in each arm letting me know they were not up to her standards after I had wasted 3 hours of time. No apology no thank you for your time, just a "maybe do some pushups and drink more water". I left feeling self conscious about myself. Not to mention every single chair that had a person in it was a man. Don't waste your time unless you want to have a lead staring boomer judge your body. There are other places to donate.

All the staff was nice and thorough especially the lady who checked me in. Overall , I was there for about 45 min including wait, checkin, and donation.

Friendly staff who are knowledgeable and efficient you are sure to be in and out very expeditiously. I recommend checking the peak hours online before coming in as you may experience long wait times at certain times and days. I wish they would return to playing games on the donor floor for prizes. With the opening of the newly renovated center most, if not all, donors are eligible for new donor fees, so that was an unexpected surprise. Most of the same old crew are there still so you are sure to see some familiar faces that you can trust to stick you. Very well managed and supervised. Office staff is very organized and knowledgeable also and are happy to answer all your questions. Be patient during peak hours.
