Idk why these people have such a hard time doing the basics of their job. I need to find which gov agency to report them to. They're dangerous. He ignored directions from someone on the floor and continued to dig into my arm, eventually causing bruising and not allowing me to donate. Be careful. Plasma donation is valuable to all involved. It's a much needed resource for a vulnerable patient population and can save lives. The donor is given a thorough medical check up with appropriate urine and blood tests and reimbursed for the time it takes for donation. Biomat in Everett is open 7 days a week which helps donors give more often and I imagine allows employees more flexibility with their schedules. Every time I've been there I felt safe, it was clean and all staff were respectful and kind. Keep up the good work and I'll see y'all soon :) read more

I am disappointed to leave such a negative Review. My previous patronage years ago was excellent - Fast, courteous & clean. Over the past two weeks, i was declined as a new donor due to their equipment giving false blood pressure readings (Testing on two monitors at two different locations gave me results that were well within requirements.) When I called to point this out and mentioned that not using the proper sized cuff can result in this happening, they basically blew me off. read more

The wait times have increased drastically, even if you have an appointment you wait for 1 to 2 hours to get called back for screening and then another half hour or more before you actually start donating. They have turned off the cable, so no TV. They are very short on staff. And to top it off they ran out of toilet paper. read more

Donate somewhere else unless you have 2hrs on a good day, but more likely 3-4hrs to waste for your $40 dollars... your time is worth more than that. The people were very nice but the age policy is very confusing. It says age 18-69. So as I turned 69 in October, I made an appointment. I even brought a note from my primary doctor stating I was cleared to give plasma. I have no health issues. So I showed up for the appointment and filled out some paperwork. After about 45 minutes, someone called me into an office and told me I'm too old. Apparently you can give on your 69th birthday but then you are too old. I am not 70. I will be 69 for 11 months. Just put on the age requirement 18-68. I went home and cried. read more

Made the new donor process simple and clear - initial appointment took about 4 hours start to finish, but there was a lot of information covered, and a full exam, which was frankly more in depth than most visits to my regular doctor. Building is very clean, the staff are all very friendly and approachable! I appreciate the Covid measures in place, i.e, shields between the beds, hand sanitizer, properly spaced waiting area, and temperature check at the door. Restrooms are very clean as well. Honestly this is a great place and great people to be around. I have never had any problems. Although there is one employee who is just very sour everytime I see her. And it might just be her. But she needs to really learn how to talk to people. Even her stare was off putting.. I could put her name . but I won't. And she was just very cold when it came to talking to me and dealing with me. Needed to make some extra cash and decided to give it a try. Everything here is clean and extra precautions being taken seriously during Covid. Staff is so friendly. Be aware going in that my first appt took a whopping 4 hours. Yes, long process but I hadn't had a physical in a while, so that was good. Second took about 2. I'm sure next ones will go much faster. They give you a prepaid visa upon leaving first time which is reloaded each time. Checked and balance was correct. If you have extra time of your hands, don't mind needles and need cash, would highly recommend. read more

If you dont have to? Dont EVER go here! To make a long story short, I am seeking legal action against this place... I am an RN... my issues started when I had to wait over 50 minutes for a hold to be released off my chart because I was eligible for the tetanus program and they had to tell me that... The nurse told me, 50 minutes later (yes, I complained LOUDLY) she finally released the hold after working up 2 new donors. I donate FINALLY, leaving the facility after 6pm at night. I donate once more, then all of a sudden I am kicked off the tetanus program because my titers supposedly went from WELL over 9 to 8.2 and that's below their "accepted" level for the program. I then was treated rudely EVERY time I went in (twice after complaining about the wait), and now, they are telling me I cant donate because I have a bruise on my right arm (and its NOT a bruise, never has been, its a discoloration of my skin to which they didn't have a problem with up until now) and supposedly my left arm veins are "to small" something to which I have NEVER had an issue with (I am 54 yrs old by the way). This is in a nutshell my story... there is more but I think you get the idea.. I have contacted corporate and let them know, and to date have not heard back from them, but I WILL be seeking legal advice. Also, if you DO go here? Pay attention to the amount they pay you! The appointment system was supposed to help move things along. And if you're starting at the beginning of the day, it does. But after the first hour, it slows down ridiculously. They overbook appointment times and never have enough screeners to manage it. For the amount of volume they do, they should have at least one for every exam room. And because they overbook, you now wind up waiting anyways. I signed in over twenty minutes early for my initial window and wound up waiting almost an hour before being seen. Is it no wonder people get turned away for having lower temperatures or elevated blood pressure/heartbeat? For the amount of money paid to donors, it's not nearly enough to go through this hassle. If things don't change soon, I'm going to stop donating here. read more

Never go here!!! They have mediocre phlebotomists who can only poke you if you have huge veins. Most importantly, they couldn't stick me one day so I had a physical with the nurse and she suggested to come back in a week or two when I've drank plenty of water. I had no problem with this, however, when I went back about a week ago. This lady that I've never seen before said I needed proof that my home doesn't have fleas with a treatment receipt?!? Wtf I don't even have fleas or even mentioned them to the employees ever... and as I was walking out to leave she said uh...also you need to have no flea bites on your skin whatsoever. That helped to add to the humiliation. I just ran out of there because she took one look at me and decided to judge me based on how I look!! I have excema and very sensitive skin and she had no right to say something like that. I can take the ridiculous waits to donate and inexperienced staff but I will not be discriminated against. I will never visit this establishment again!! Worse experience I ever had and if I could give negative stars I would. Ugh. There are way better plasma donating establishments that will treat you with respect in the area, don't waste your time with this one. read more

This is the worst donor facility i do not recommend it. All i can tell you is you wait wait and wait. Even with front of the line passes. And no one gives a damn if you were skipped multiple times or if you've been waiting on the donor bed forty plus minutes to get started. The staff has other important things to do like talk about their personal life which no one gives a crap about. I actually heard a staff member say to a lady who was talking to her friend about how shes been waiting two hours in the waiting room the staff guy said "well i can make your visit here shorter and show you out". They used to be horrible. They'd make you wait 6 hours from start to finish as a regular donor, sometimes. That is a huge waste of time! That said, they've improved and not usually there for more than 4 hours max which is standard for this type of place. If you want normal people to donate, stay open later(so people can get there after work), don't treat people like crap, and don't make them wait around 6 hours. Right? A typical donation takes 4 to 6 hours, and your 'time' is very, very poorly compensated. You'll make more money standing out front with a sign in that time. Unless you have no other option you would do better donating at the Puget Sound Blood Center or other competent organizations. The staff are inadequate, and the desk workers are rude. I have been coming to Biomat Everett for about a month and a half now after just moving to Everett, Washington and every single time I have come here I have been treated very rudely and talked to like I am a complete and total idiot! The only person that has ever been nice and friendly was the nurse that did my new donor physical. I moved from Idaho and previously donated with Biolife plasma and they are ALWAYS kind and courteous and get you through the donation process quickly. Biomat is 100% the opposite! So let me tell you my experience with them. Every single time I have come in the employees are rude and talk to me like I am a complete idiot. I am new to Biomat and I am not very familiar with process and I have had to ask questions and they are always very snippy and rude! I have asked questions about when to sign in, about donor referrals, about what things are good to eat before I donate, about punch cards that they do and every time I am treated terribly! The wait times are awful. A new donor donation takes at least 4 hours and my donations typically take 3-4 hours. This is ridiculous!!! Then they wear the same gloves while filling out paperwork and typing on computers? I have been a CNA and know that is NOT sanitary or safe at all! And the wait times are TERRIBLE!!!! They make you wait for EVERYTHING!!! They make you wait 10- 40 mins just to sign in even if you show up early or on time. Then they make you wait to have your blood count and vitals checked, then they make you wait for a bed, then I have waited as long at 40 mins just to be connected to a machine and then when you finish it's like another 10-20min wait. This a joke. The entire process at Biolife is NEVER longer than an hour! I know they are a different company and do things differently, but seriously, can they run there facility that poorly to make donors wait that long! So the last time I came in to do donate they missed my vein twice and they had three seperate technicians moving the needle back and forth in my arm and I tried to tolerate the pain in my arm and not say anything for the first 15 mins, then I told them I was in pain and they kept fiddling for another minute or two before they switched and made me donate on my right arm. I told them I would rather not do that and they said I wouldn't get paid if I didn't switch arms. "How messed up is that? By the time my donation was over I had been sitting in the chair almost two hours and and everything from my lower back down was numb, asleep, and in pain! On top of that when the did my finger prick to get my blood cell count the guy doing it said the machine didn't coagulate my blood correctly or something like that. So they had to stick my finger twice!!! That was a couple of days ago. Fast forward to today and I came in to donate and I go to check in and they tell me they don't have an appointment and when I asked her what to do the dark haired girl who is always at the front desk and ALWAYS rude (I don't know her name because she never wears a name tag and wouldn't tell me her name when I asked,) says to me, "You have to schedule another appointment or not not donate." I told her I made the appointment 2 days ago and hit finalize appointment and double check it this morning. She says "NOT my problem" and then decides to ignore me and start helping other customers. So I ask for a supervisor and she says that there is no supervisor that has time to speak to me. I told her I would wait for one and she rolls her eyes and gives me a dirty look and goes to get one and their supervisor with a ponytail comes out and talks VERY angrily at me and tells me to stop harrassing his employees (which is just rediculous to say because I clearly wasn't and to show him my appointment that I made on my phone and by that point I had already rescheduled for another time. I tried to refer my girlfriend to donate and she had her own Nightmare of an experience (which is a story for a seperate review) and I tried to ask for a supervisor then and received the same rude snippy response from the same exact girl who said there was no supervisors available to speak with! That time the security guard on duty overheard my conversation and pulled me aside and said that the supervisor was right outside painting something on the Windows and to go speak to her if I would like to. I did and she said she would do something about the situation. I'm not sure if she ever did. I'm guessing not since every experience at Grifols Biomatt in Everett, WA is just as horrible as the last. I recommend finding a Biolife Plasma Center if you can find one and donate there. DO NOT donate at Biomat! They are extremely rude and slow. I would give them ZERO stars if I ccould! I only donate here because it is 5 mins away from where I live and Biolife is 40 mins away in Bellview. I am only doing this because I have struggled to find work. As soon as I start work and get my first paycheck I will be done with this awful place! read more

I have been coming here for months,. Always a 1-3 hr wait,. Last time the needle came out of my vein and left a bad bruise, it delayed the process more on second time. It wasn't the staffs fault,.. Just not a friendly process,.. Usually everything is fine, I recommend coming at 7:30 am if you want a short visit, they are real friendly. It is great to save lives which makes it all worth it.
