I had a very disappointing experience during my recent donation. The staff member assisting me, whose name I believe was Emma or Ella, was unprofessional and made me feel unsafe. She assisted another donor and did not change her gloves before returning to continue my care. I had to ask her to put on a clean pair of gloves, and she seemed to have an attitude about my request. Later, she helped the donor next to me again and then came to remove my needle without changing her gloves first. She also initially brought collection labels with another donor's name before correcting the mistake. That was extremely concerning and made me question the safety of the donation process. To make matters worse, I developed a hematoma in my right arm during my donation. Between the labeling error, the lack of proper glove changes, and the overall unprofessional behavior, I left feeling upset and uncomfortable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reinforces proper infection-control procedures and patient safety standards so other donors don't have a similar experience. read more

Johnathan is by far one of the people there I can't stand. He's always telling me to not drink coffee/caffeine before I come in and everytime I have to see him, I tell him again and again that I never drink coffee nor caffeine. My blood pressure can be at a 102 and everyone there lets me donate BUT him. I'm tired of repeating myself to him and him just being the odd one out. This is the worst place EVER! Do not donate at this location. Go to the Rialto one instead. It's cleaner and the staff is much more friendly. Oh and they won't give you a hematoma every time you go to them. Also, don't write a negative review about them because they will permanently defer you from going to any of their locations. They never have soap in the restroom. There is always blood or piss all over the restroom. They never answer the phone let alone call you back if you leave a message. The website is down so you can only go in to make an appointment. I went in and stood there for about 6 minutes. No one was at the front desk. I could hear people laughing in the back room having a great time. Workers on the floor saw me. So did the ones taking vitals. So did some worker carrying supplies. No one gave a crap. I was flabbergasted when I saw one star reviews. I have been going to this place for two years and have never been upset with the staff once. Dez, Mac, Josh, Lisa... literally everyone here is kind and professional and take the time to explain anything you need. People complain about how busy it gets. Well, yeah. The people on site have no control over the appointment process. They can't control flow, just react to it. I have seen these people muscle through ungodly numbers of people with smiles that never leave. They need raises, control over their appointment system, and to be treated like human beings! I went into to donate on 7/1, I have small veins but the first time I had such a great experience I didn't think anything off I made a second appoint and came in on 7/3, first off nobody said good morning, they were very rude if I had a question and the girl that put the needle in my arm nicked something because blood was coming out of the needle site, she then came back and they said that I wasn't going to be able to finish the donation cause of the blood, so they gave me back my blood and saline on my left arm and I was fine. I thought I would be fine, but not even an hour after a huge bruised formed on my arm. When I came back again on 7/8 they said a nurse had to see me, I explained and I ask them is this going to affect, told me it had to be lighted by Thursday it was lighter, but I came in I went with a nurse who said let's check your other arm, they confirm it was fine, that I could donate and then person that put it in , said no you aren't going to be able to donate, so it got taken out so now I am bruised on both arms. I asked the nurse if this would affect my first bonus month pay and he said ya. I feel like at this rate it was just done on purpose, Im not even upset on the money I'm just pissed off that they just brushed it off when I complained that the girl nicked something. My appointment was at 9:10 am, and I didn't get my vitals until 10:15 am. It's 10: 35 now and I'm going to be late for work . I completely understand that it's a donation, but when you have an appointment honor it.People that got there after me were seen before me. Then the line to wait for a bed was so long. You could get on space mountain at Disneyland faster on a Saturday. I donated once and my arm bruised be cause she pinched my vein and had two wait a couple of months. now that The Las Vegas Office on Sahara changed to being seated and Your name placed in a kiosk, what would have been an hour, maybe even an hour and a half, has now become an over two and a half hour process. They don't seem to care that People come between Lunch Breaks, Job interviews, or other Appointments and activities. Most of Us do have Jobs and other things to do. it's now only One Person working one section, and only two sections open, the other two are empty and no One working. read more

Honestly don't let all the negative reviews mislead you. I've never EVER left this center upset or had a problem with any of staff. You're always greeted and treated with respect. A DONATION IS ONLY AS SIMPLE AS YOU MAKE IT! They do as much as you need to in order to get you in and out. It's very rare if a mistake is made on their behalf. They have no control as to how many donors come in or if your body reacts irregularly during the donation process. They work as quickly and carefully as they can. If you have any irregularities, someone is there to find an alternative. If you have a question, someone has an answer. read more

The lines are too long. It takes two hours to 2 1/2 hours to donate your plasma and they are ripping you off on what they pay. It's going down and down and down every week where they're getting more money from what they sell our plasma, but they give the donors less rip off. read more

I have no words. My husband went in about a week ago, during the procedure he started feeling sharp pain in his bicep. They told him that the needle had "slipped" and that fluid had built up in his muscle. They sent him home and three days after his entire arm had a huge purple bruise. He couldn't extend his arm. Finally he went to urgent care and they told him that he had a BLOOD CLOT in his arm. Which can be fatal if not taken care of right. This is the most incompetent place to send someone home and to not make sure something serious had happened. I tried to call the office to tell them what happened so that they can be more careful with other peoples lives but haven't been able to get through to them in 3 days. read more

This place messed up due to employee error. During the finger prick protein check, my protein was 19. The employee informed me a normal range was 6-9 and mine was abnormally high because the machine wasn't cleaned before they did the check. This disqualified me from donating, even though I had no health problem and it wasn't my fault. I asked if I could be checked on a different machine and he said the policy is to only do one protein check. Even though it was their bad, they just said sorry and to come back tomorrow. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. The people do NOT know what they are doing. They refused to stick my left arm (the arm i have always used to donate plasma, including a different biolife location in Moreno valley which is amazing, CSL and Grifols) mind you. Ive Never had a problem with my left arm before. This location didnt want to use it because "my tattoo isnt an inch from the vein" they didnt even feel it just looked and told me no. My LEFT ARM IS MY ONLY SUITABLE ARM. I Told them my right arm CANNOT BE USED. Even hospitals wont stick my right arm because my veins in my right arm are extremely small. They stick me in my right arm ANYWAY. Right before she put the needle in she says "if we Miss you'll still be paid" WTF U MEAN IF U MISS????? Thats exactly what i said. So the needle in my arm for like 45 seconds, im in EXCRUCIATING PAIN. She then says "yea the blood flow is moving too slow for the machines liking so were gonna end it here" YEA DUMMY i told you, you cant use my right arm. My arm is throbbing and in pain. They don't like to pay the incremental $800. payout. On my 1st visit, they botched the procedure. However, they still paid me. That is considered one strike, you're allowed 2. After I reached $400., 2wks, they botched it again, thus a 2 month suspension ensued. thus negating the $800. incentive. My theory is they received the same amount of plasma as a person who would have been paid $400. Similar to that of a bait and switch scheme. They are pretty slick. Just go elsewhere. They get up to $800. per plasma container, and yet they still need staff. Always a long line, unnecessarily. There's no real focus on volunteers; oh! They discriminated against me for my tattoos and wouldn't let me donate today. Arlene I think her name is completely rude and yeah, it is considered discrimination and yeah, you do have the same equipment as a doctor. That's what you use to get to the vein so the fact that you're trying to pull oh we don't have the equipment to see your veins when you had no problem seeing my van, you just claimed they were too small. This location is ghetto as F. All kinds of walk in's. Smelling of strong weed. Bathrooms smell strong of urine, soap bottle on sink has scum on button and almost empty bottle. The front of the door and handicap parking is filled with trash. People parking in the walk way in between the handicap parking spaces. This place takes no responsibility for anything. Secondly, when someone finally decides to answer I'm hit with the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I asked how much comp would be for my first time donating since all I see online is points which doesn't tell me anything. First time ever donating, didn't really know what to expect. So I made an appointment online through the app. When arriving to my appointment I was greeted and helped right away, filled out the questionnaire, had my physical done all within a timely manner. Before I knew it, I was ready to donate. They were all very adamant about the rules and the process, as they should! this is important work and the employees there show it. Came in to try to donate plasma and my veins were cleared. I needed to get a signature from my doctor because of a medication so I went and paid $20 to get that signature. When I came back from my second appointment they now say I have 2 veins but they are crossed and none in the second arm. . Why is it so hard to donate plasma when you're asking to save peoples lives? People here are ignorant, and need to get on the same page. They told me because possibly dehydration, but I've had 2 Gatorade's and eight glasses of water so that's not the case . Half of the people in there look like their hanging on by a thread, but apparently I don't have the veins to save someone's life. What a huge waste of time! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I have donated with biolife in Rialto and that place is 1000% better than this location. When I took my mom here, we had issues with the wanna be rental security guard, which was rude. My mom was a first-time donor, and she went through the donor registration, and they had to check her arms to make sure her veins were good, which she has good veins. When they took her to the chair to donate, they poked her 4x with 2 different phlebotomist. They didn't know what they were doing and were very incompetent about their job. They said she had bad veins, but in fact, they were bad at their job, plus they never change gloves between patients which is not safe, and we both know about safety procedures because we both work in medical and donate, and she never has a problem with her veins when she donates. In the end, the lady in the front said she would be compensated for coming. When we got home, I set up her account, and they never paid her. This was on Friday 4/5/24 @4:45pm. Today, I took her to my location in rialto, which is better and cleaner. I asked about her compensation since the people in the San Bernardino location poked her multiple times and they said that they put in the system that they never poked her, which is a lie and my mom could sue if she wanted to. SO I'M TELLING ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE THINKING OF GOING TO THIS LOCATION, DO NOT GO!!!! Awful service ever I had! Discriminated and ignorance by barred my communication access. I am deaf and being not great at grammar in English which they requested the paper log. We were being miscommunicated on our written log. I requested to get an interpreter and they refused. They made wrong assumption about me so they won't allow me to process at all. Beware of the "Bait and Switch." They will promise you one amount and give you something else. I was supposed to be on the $800 in a month plan but without telling me, they put me on the $400 plan. Then on my 5th donation when I was expecting $100 I only got $40. That's when I found out they switched plans on me. So according to the new plan, after a $40 payout I was supposed to get an $80 payout but once again, they hid their intentions in the fine print. i am never donating again and it will definitely be because of bio-life. my first donation went well it was a few weeks ago. everyone was extremely friendly. my boyfriend came in with me and he didnt have an appointment so he just waited in the waiting room. fast forward today. My boyfriend decides he wanted to donate too. I didn't schedule an appointment for today just so I can drive him home. When we go in the lady asks me if i had an appointment and I tell her only my boyfriend had an appointment and she tried to kick me out of the building. I told her the first time I donated they let my boyfriend sit in the waiting room for me. She eventually finally decided to listen to what i was saying and said "oh you're a donar you didnt say that". I had been saying it from the beginning of the argument . she ended up letting me sit in the waiting room. my boyfriend ends up donating but they popped his vein... his vein is now collapsed. this place was ghetto. the staff is weird. read more
