Victoria worked with me to develop a gorgeous piece that would look great at both my bridal shower and for my wedding in a few weeks. When we realized the initial piece was a bit ambitious, she was more than happy to rework it to something that was doable for both of us. This was my first tattoo in decades, on my back, fairly large and complicated and really pushed me to the edge of my tolerance, but Victoria was incredibly supportive, hyped me, gave me breaks when I needed them, and changed tactics when I started to struggle. We watched silly movies and nature documentaries, and I was able to stop and get food when I needed it. If you are looking for an incredibly talented, supportive, compassionate, empathetic, patient tattoo artist definitely go to Victoria, especially if tattooing might be a bit difficult for you and you're looking for someone to collaborate and guide you through the process. Can't wait to go back for my next one!

I called on the day and the lady is able to get me in within the next 2 hours unlike a lot of beauty salon where you ha be to book days ahead. This is great for my emergency waxing. It's a small beauty shop but cozy. I did an underarm waxing and the lady was very fast. It didn't hurt at all. In the end, there were a few tiny tiny hair that cannot be removed by wax, I suggested plugging them, but the lady did threading! Threading is a traditional hair removal technics in Asia and it's very traditional. Even in Asia where I am from, not many people know how to do it anymore. So I was very impressed by it. The lady really did a very good job. The environment is not fancy but the price is also very good!! Will definitely go back!

So much so that her makeup ended up being free due to so much miscommunication even the DAY OF. Unprofessional as well, as workers were being yelled at in front of us because no one would take responsibility for the screw up. They could not figure out who owed what because they did not read the contract or list until after the fact of girls having the services done, which caused for much whispering to other workers and the owner, again in front of all of us. Also asking girls to come back to pay more because they received services they did not ask for. For instance, we were told we could not do eyelashes due to there not being enough time and that they would charge $15 for them. Ridiculous! But then day of we were all offered (???). Also told that we could only do traditional makeup then a couple of us ended up getting sprayed with airbrush and had to pay more - if you are not used to getting professional makeup done you have no idea what's going on you sit there and let the artist do their thing - again more miscommunication by the salon, not the bridal party. Makeup and hair for majority of the girls ended up having to be fixed before the actual ceremony. Waste of time and money for non lasting $75 an updo and $45 to $75 for makeup. I was forced to choose a star rating by Yelp, otherwise this review would contain no stars.

I had a Groupon for a mini spa pedicure and a dip powder manicure. I came on Christmas Eve and had no problem making a phone appointment. I was greeted at the door and was offered water or tea. For tea, you have the option of getting jasmine or black. The mini spa pedicure included a scrub that went up towards my knees. My legs were then wrapped with plastic wrap to maintain moisture while I got the rest of my pedicure. The shape of my nails is great and I like application. My big toe nail chipped a little the next day but that may be due to my own fault. My nail technician was Yoyo and she did a great job. I got color #1 for the SNS nail dip. They did 3 layers which is thicker than I like but it looks great overall. I didn't like that there was gunk under my nails after the appointment and that it had that tacky "skin is stuck to nails-feeling" but it was easy to clean up myself. They were playing Christmas music during the entire time and I thought that was festive and fun. They also had a dog movie playing on the TV so I was entertained the entire time. After my manicure, I was given a light shoulder massage. My technician had the tiniest hands. I was also given a Christmas gift when I left. This was so sweet! It was a cute nail clipper and a modern glass nail filer.
