It was nice and quiet, until a group of three chatty women came in. I was ushered into a common room with dim lights, recliners and pillows. Good thing I brought my ear buds so I could listen to music on my phone: there was no background music playing. I had two people working on me. The manicurist wore a mask and used a bright lamp to work under. I noticed that the towel under my hand was stained with nail polish and had a hole in it: not a good impression *sigh* The person who did my foot spa and pedicure did a good job: foot soak, salt scrub, foot and lower leg massage and pedicure. I liked the color of my nails but the shape didn't look natural. One of the nail extensions wasn't completely connected (see pic), so my real nail tip was exposed and prone to having things getting stuck in the space in between. The extensions were suppose to last two weeks but they only lasted only one since I had to do laundry. They did look pretty in pictures, not close up though. One positive observation I have about acrylic polygel nail extensions is that they are strong and durable. They were also easy to remove myself, which saved me a trip to the salon. I figured since I was in the Philippines, I'd give it another shot. The lady that did my eyes was able to get them to stick a lot better. Unfortunately, I probably need a touch up to get them perfect, but I was not able to before coming back to Cali. There was some bruising and my eyes were swollen, but I appreciated that they put cold compress on my eyes and let me lay there for a while before I had to get up. Next time I'm back in the Philippines, I would be interested in fixing few areas (closer to my inner eye).

Although the shop displayed excellence in their services from beginning to end, the place was too fresh for me to give it a perfect score since it just opened recently. This review will be more on the barber's part of the business since I was not able to use the nail salon yet. The shop opens at 1pm everyday and I arrived there at around 3pm on a Saturday without a reservation. There were people waiting in line, (as expected since it was a weekend) but the place did not make me feel bored or made me want to come back some other time since people that worked there or even the owner will get to you right away upon entering. Complimentary brewed coffee is offered for the people who wait for their turn and things to read are available beside soft seats you can snug in. The ambience was serene as the lights were easy on the eyes and the music is soft that it perfectly blends in the mutterings and little laughs from everyone. You can stay in the lounge part of the shop or if you're in a group, there is also a coffee area you can use while you wait. One thing exceptional about this place is that it also offers nail services for men and women done just at the other side of the mirror walls. This gives you the freedom to take your girl with you on your haircut trips so they won't have a reason not to give you time for yourself (or vice versa). The seats and equipment were appropriate to the traditional theme as well as the seats in the nail services side. Service prices are very reasonable, haircuts start from 165Php, which includes shampooing and a quick facial, and this is like half the price of the famous traditional barbers in Metro Manila. Parking wouldn't be much of a hassle since the building does have a space in front intended for customer's vehicles and can cater around 8-10 sedans/SUVs all at once. My overall experience with Belleza is positive and I will be coming back for their services once needed. I was fully satisfied for the price that I've paid for and will recommend this to relatives and friends. Given that the place is new, it does not mean that people who work here are inexperienced. They will give you a service that will compliment your style, or whichever you pick from the choices they will show you.
