It is so very hard to find a competent hair stylish who can handle wavy hair. I was hopeful when I saw the beautiful layered hairstyles on Coiffeur's Facebook page. Since I couldn't find their price list online, I went straight away to their salon to find out.
They're located on the corner of Sto. Entierro and Magsaysay, on the second floor of the building. Lucky for me, they accept walk ins, even during this pandemic.
Arriving just as they opened, the only staff present was the colorist. She was cordial and easy to talk to. She gave me prices and available services, with no pressure to purchase more than I wanted.
We discussed my needs and she showed me pictures of color choices. I appreciate seeing pictures of her actual customers, because it shows the quality of her work.
In my rush to get here, I forgot to eat breakfast. Fortunately I was allowed to have food delivered here. I was so elated that I even bought breakfast for my colorist. After she colored my hair, the straps of my mask were stained. She gave me a clean new mask to replace my old one: thoughtful gesture!
The hair stylist wasn't very talkative; I prefer someone who is a good conversationalist. I started doubting his skills when he had to straighten my wavy hair to finish cutting my hair.
In the end I was pleased with my hair color, she did a good job covering all the gray. As for my cut, it was only ok. Before I left, I had my eyebrows threaded. This was my first time trying it; it felt like a burn, later on my eyebrows felt itchy. The shape was nice; but I would rather pluck my eyebrows, than tolerate the discomfort of threading again.
Free WiFi, available parking lot, clean and organized shop, friendly and competent staff. I would definitely recommend this salon for their excellent customer service; but only if you have straight hair. read more
