Do NOT go here if you have any other option! VERY rude staff. They made me feel unimportant. I wish that I could give zero stars.

Tierney Orthotics and Prosthetics is owned and operated by Cynthia Tierney, BOCO, C.Ped. In addition, there is a phenomenal team of women that supports Cynthia in the office. As a customer of Tierney, I greatly appreciate the care and attention provided by the team. The waiting area, patient rooms, and bathroom is always very clean, the staff is super friendly, and I can tell they enjoy working together. Tierney has a wide variety of products to choose from, and the staff works hard to ensure that you are satisfied with what you receive. As a breast cancer survivor and someone who suffers from chronic pain and lymphadema, it is very satisfying to know that there is a company that is dedicated to making life more comfortable and accessible. Tierney is located just off off of Stratford Rd. at 1345 Westgate Center Dr. Suite B. It shares a parking lot with other medical businesses, and sits off in the back and to the left, in a beautiful red brick building with 1345 print at the top of the building. Your GPS may have you stop at the front of the lot when you turn, but keep coming towards the back, and it is on the left in the brick building behind the grey office. They have a ramp for accessibility and once inside, you will enter Suite B on the left. If you have Orthotic or Prosthetic needs, I highly recommend you go by Tierney. When you arrive, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya.

After working with Cindy and her staff to be seen, measured, and the custom garments delivered in a timely manner, I highly recommend them. They have lots of other items available as well, I was there for the compression items. I have been searching for a dental office that is dedicated to true patient care ever since my…read moredentist retired. I saw Dr. Russell recommended several times on a neighborhood app. From the front desk staff, to the dental assistant to the dental hygienist, everyone was amazing. They were kind, welcoming, patient & great at communicating their care throughout the process. They were concerned with my comfort and focused on limiting my pain. I was initially disappointed that Dr. Russell was not the dentist I was seeing but Dr. Reynolds was simply wonderful. He explained my treatment plan and how they collaborated with specialists to design my care plan. He even broke down how to best target brushing and flossing to optimize the best results. He was even abreast of how inflammation and chronic conditions affect dental health and showed genuine concern with my care. He did not rush out of the room and he made sure all of my questions were answered. I highly recommend this office.

I tell a close friend of mine that Winston-Salem has the greatest dentists around, and Dr. Russell definitely is one of the best.

I have no idea what is going on with Carolina Pain Institute, but for over a year when I went for…read moremy appointments I was told Dr North will not be back until ______{and it would be 3 months}. Dr North did a SI Joint fusion on the left side and now it is painful constantly and I WILL NOT live the rest of my life on pain meds. I thought this procedure would relieve sciatica pain, but in my case it may have helped a little while but this constant pain is terrible. After Dr North disappeared I did see one of the other doctors one time and he scheduled a test for a SI Joint fusion on my right side. After the test he called me in January to say the surgery center had put a hold on the needed procedure and I would receive a call in mid-February with a date and time. And now here we are at the end of March 2026 and still no phone call. Actually, I have no pain currently on the right side. And this morning I finally got someone to answer the phone and I asked for an appointment with Dr North. It's hard to believe that the front desk is that busy no one can answer the phone. The person answering told me he hasn't been with us for over a year. I asked why wasn't I as a patient notified of this and the lady said we don't notify patients of this sort of thing. I had as a patient put my confidence and trust in this facility but I am very concerned and disappointed with the secrecy and I feel like my situation has fallen through the cracks. She couldn't answer my question as to why I had not received a phone call in February. The lady wanted to make me an appointment to come and discuss the situation and I refused to make an appointment because I don't know who or what I can believe. The entire thing at Carolina Pain is too shady. I will say that Lena, NP is great but she's limited as to what she can do.

This is the third pain clinic I have been a patient with. The first was a "throw another medicine…read moreat it" practice. The second was fine until the doctor retired. And, now, going on 3 decades of pain clinics, I've been blessed to be with Dr. Kapural and his team for 4+ years. This is BY FAR the best clinic yet! Here, they use cutting edge procedures to FIX the problem instead of "putting a band-aid on it" by just using drugs to cover up the pain. If you're looking for a pill mill, just go somewhere else, because they don't work like that. There aren't enough words to express how happy I am to be a patient here. I feel better now than I have in many, many years. Thank you, Dr. Kapural!!!

I needed advice on buying new shoes. My husband would get a new pair, Merrels mainly, these should last a year or more, However, in a month or two, they were too uncomfortable for him to wear. Dr. Collard was able to give us excellent advice on what brands and types of qualities that would benefit his feet. I feel confident we will find shoes that work for him. The office personnel were efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Collard for any foot issues. You will be taken care of quite well.

When we arrived the receptionist was professionally dressed, efficient, very cheerful and welcoming. The office is clean, comfortable and amusingly decorated with feet. I liked the blue duck feet best. The music was nice too. There were several people ahead of us as we arrived early. Each person was called in order and no one had to wait for very long. The nurse was personable and really knew her stuff. Dr Lyerly came right in, looked the toe over, collaborated with what the nurse had said. He then gave a clear description of his recommendation. He numbed the toe, preformed surgery, bandaged it up, gave us instructions and sent us on our way. The conversation was fun and the whole thing was refreshing. We are going back in two weeks so the dr can make sure all is healing well. Thank you all for your wonderful service. We highly recommend Dr Lyerly and his office.
