One star for Morgan Ramsey. She does not care about her patients well being and does not follow up…read moreon previous appointments. She rude and short with no bed side manners. I would NOT recommend her for a dog much less a person. I had an emergency visit with her about a month a half prior to my appointment. And at my appointment she Never asked if I was able to get in with he specialist.... She was more concerned about my anxiety. She can kick rocks!

I did, and I got in. It took them literally 45 minutes to take my (VERY non complicated) family history, etc. into the computer. Then the doctor came in and had no idea what it was, no explanation of next steps really, just said that I was getting blood results. And apparently she referred me to a specialist that didn't even do the test she wanted to do. Thanks for checking up on that. I had some bloodwork drawn, which it's nice because it's right in the same office, and sent away. I would get the results in the morning and this office will NOT call you until the afternoon. On one of my tests, I had a few questions, but the nurse had NO idea and it turns out the doctor only works Tuesday and Thursday mornings. So CLEARLY the time to call me was Thursday afternoon when there is literally not ONE person in there to answer my questions. When I asked about that gap in logic she had no answer and no idea why I was upset that they would call me with nobody in who ACTUALLY COULD ANSWER A QUESTION. I suppose they just think that everyone is a little drone who won't ask a question about their own bodies. Go find someone else. This practice is awful.

They are a family practice, so they will refer you when necessary. - They are GREAT at communication via the Novant system messaging and scheduler. I have had many conversations with my doctor in that capacity. - It is very clean - The lab work you need is done on site - They have filed with my insurance just fine and dandy.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Cuthrell. She is truly phenomenal…read moreat everything, especially treating trauma; she has become more like family than "just" a therapist. She's exceptionally knowledgeable, discreet, genuinely caring, and possesses a rare gift for knowing exactly when to challenge you and how far to push so you can get to the root of what's really going on--without ever feeling unsafe, judged, or rushed. What stands out most is her expertise with deep-rooted trauma treatment--the kind that doesn't always show up as one clear memory, but lives in patterns: hypervigilance, shutdown, people-pleasing, self-blame, emotional flooding, or feeling stuck even when you want to move forward. She understands trauma at a level that's both clinical and human. She helps you connect the dots between the past and the present with clarity, and she does it in a way that feels grounded and actionable--not overwhelming. It's obvious she has extensive training and advanced education, and she brings that expertise into the room with confidence and care. She doesn't just listen--she knows how to guide the work strategically. She creates a space that feels private and protected, while still getting you to the truth of what's underneath. After only a few sessions, I completely understand why some people stay in therapy for years when they find someone this effective. She's a master of her craft--so accomplished and skilled that I feel grateful beyond words to be her patient. Because of her, I have a new outlook on life. I'm no longer just surviving--I'm thriving, healing, and rediscovering who I truly am. If you're serious about doing the work and you want your life back on track, I wholeheartedly recommend Serenity Counseling & Resource Center.

Gina Gordon from Care Patrol was really a savior to me and my family. My father who had been 100%…read moreindependent, amazingly healthy, and still an active writer, researcher, and speaker, had a stroke one day that totally affected the portions of his brain dealing with verbal comprehension. Physically he was not limited but over night, he became a person that has some off the speech and emotionally lability of a toddler while needing round the clock care and MANY adjuncts put in place (safety, new living arrangements, speech therapy, etc.). Plus his medical care network is hundreds of miles away in his primary residence city. Gina helped me - the middle of three sons and Power of Attorney for my Dad - find the right care despite his somewhat unique care profile (physically unlimited, distant geographic medical and familial support system, and all-of-a-sudden significant cognitive deficits). I often felt at my wit's end with nowhere to turn, ignorant to what my dad needed, caught between short-term, expensive, and wanting-to-discharge hospitals/ rehabs, and the wishes (although hard to understand) of my Dad. Not only did Gina know all of the possibilities, but she also had great relationships to the leadership of many different facilities, and thereby was able to help facilitate the "square peg in a round hole" that my Dad and his needs were turning out to be. But, by far the biggest benefits were Gina's kindness to me and my father, patience through millions of questions, advocacy to different facilities and staff (like getting a rehab to keep my Dad a little longer as the next placement location was difficult to finalize), and literally around-the-clock availability. I said to my family many times that "Gina took me off the ledge" meaning that this shocking life event - my Dad's stroke - left me feeling so hopeless and helpless many times...Gina was always there to offer advice and many possible pathways that helped my Dad in his recovery and really improved my mental health and well-being during this stressful time. Care Patrol of Winston-Salem is LITERALLY a life-saver!
