Poor communication as I had three different people reach out to me, two by phone and one by text message about fixing the chips in my windshield. One person said they could fix it and one said they could not. The third bowed out when I told them that three people from Binswanger were contacting me. Decided to wait on fixing windshield so flash forward three months and State Farm said to just replace windshield. Replaced windshield and broke one of my washer squirt nozzles. I had to go back to have them replaced after they had to order the parts. Long story short poor customer service and poor communication. I got one poor apology from tech that broke the part by saying, "sorry it happens." And on top of everything else windshield was so streaked after install I had to stop to clean it and they left my dash a mess with debris. read more

I randomly showed up to Binswanger after seeing it on Campbell and inquired about some plexiglass for a church project. Not only was I greeted with a kind and helpful smile, but I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the men working. They saw our need and just gifted me the piece I need for my church project. These are great people! Give them your business! read more

These guys helped out our church in a pinch. Big thanks to BJ. Great customer service.

Very quick turn around on my order. Very friendly delivery and the glass is perfect for my mom's table. read more

I've been trying to get a window and shower glass installed for 3 months. There is no communication until I reach out to them. Once I call they tell me the glass just came or they call back and act as though it's not in response to me calling. They have come out 5 times and each time there is another reason why they can't finish the job -- the glass is broken, the door is the wrong size, the glass is not cut correctly. One time they left without telling us the status or that they were leaving for the day. There has yet to be any urgency to communicate or to fix the problem. read more

Worst customer experience ever. The manager closed early on a Friday when I just needed to pick up our glass order. Their hours clearly say they were open, but he had locked up and gone home. Lied to my face about what time he had left, and couldn't be bothered to make things right. Made it clear he just doesn't care about customers. Before they come on here and make excuses, there's really nothing they can do to make up for the way I was treated. read more

We ordered some glass for some shelves and somehow the order got mixed up, and we would have been paying 3 times as much as we needed to (you can't really return the glass once it's cut). Linda in the office was great and they kept the extra glass and we saved our money. read more

I called them on a Friday a few weeks ago to see if they can replace a bedroom window that was cracked from top to bottom. They took my info and I was told a manager will call me to book an appointment and be out that next week as they are about a week out. Sure, no problem. The following Wednesday came and I had not heard from anyone so I called back. I was told they are going to be at my house that day or the next (Thursday). I told the guy that tomorrow will be better and he said he will let the manager know. So Thursday came, no call, no show. I went with another company that next day. If Binswanger can't even call to make an appointment and I have to continuously track them down, why give them my business and money?? I will not recommend them to anyone. After reading the other Yelp reviews, it sounds like I dodged a bullet. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star review. Don't waste your time trying to leave a google review, they turned that feature off. Also, 3 weeks ago we had them come out to measure our display case to put glass in. They said it would be 5 days and when the glass came in it was the wrong size! I'm sorry, WHAT? They came out to measure for the right size and they still didn't get it right. Then they said oh another 5 days for the right glass. So the 5 days came and it'd be another 5 days. Now its been 3 weeks and no glass. If you are a BUSINESS and can't do the job for us, tell us so we can keep our business running and we can find another glass company. read more

I have been meaning to write this review for many months now. I had the tiniest chip in my windshield and for some reason all the places that could come repair it were booked out for weeks. I thought well Binswanger is a glass company and I have heard of them since I work in the insurance Industry. I thought why not have them fix it. So the guy gets here to my work place to meet me out at the car. I told him I have had safelite fix a chip bigger then that, was this something he could fix. He said oh that's no problem since it was such a small chip. Well I had training so I had to get back into work. I told him to just leave the keys at the front desk when he was done. He calls me 15 minutes later and says we have a problem. I said excuse me. He said well he was not sure what happened but it ended up cracking down and out both sides. I was so upset, then he says but I can get you an estimate to get you a new windshield. I said oh that's a nice scam come out and break my windshield and then give me an estimate to get a new one. I said if I knew he couldn't do it I would have waited for a company that could. So I told him to bring my keys to the desk and I would have to deal with his mess later. So I go to the car and was shocked at what he did to such a tiny chip. The crack was like 6 to 7 inches going down each side. Then he had the nerve to leave me a $60 bill in my seat. LOL I was mind blown. I called my insurance company and Binswanger. Well the people at Binswanger did not seem to care what happened. I thought they would offer me a new windshield since their employee broke it. Well they did not. They weren't even going to drop the bill until my insurance company called. Being in the Insurance Industry I will never refer them to any of my clients ever. Worst customer service. read more

Had small chip on windshield repaired. $59.95 Still has 50% of the chip visible. Definitely not worth the time and money.

Jean at desk surly 2 days in a row. First day couldn't give an estimate for a simple piece of glass to be cut for a picture frame ( when I saw the bill, I understood why!) She told me it would be ready the next day, I arrived in the afternoon, but glass not ready. They did cut it then while I waited only a few minutes. Glass arrived unwrapped in any paper or plastic, when I asked about it Jean told me they didn't wrap it. The charge for a 27 by31 inch standard glas s piece was over $30 with tax. seemed a bit high but what can you do. Wait, I know, never use Binswanger again! read more
