First meal in Liguria ever and it started with a bang. A chef's vision of Ligurian classics done with some upscale and contemporary touches. Some international flourishes along the way but not forgetting the history behind the local tradition. We did a tasting menu of the restaurant and let them cook for us. We also let their GM/Wine Director dictate the wines from ultra local produces that are very small scale. As I say go with what the pros know...
Ill let the pictures do most of the talking but we got things like local sgombro, coniglio, crostacei, and the local nociolla cake with colatura caramel. All delicious and creative across the board.
The space is actually attached to the local ceramics history museum which is an integral trade in the area. Ill have to see the exhibits at some point but first food! read more
