The animals there are very well looked after and it is a long away from us but it is such a lovely place to go and look round and they have a park for the kids and shops and cafe.They even have lots of other animals, horses, rabbits, goats etc. We will go again if we are passing again .

The Dogs Trust at Plumbs Farm, Hamstead Marshall concentrates on providing shelter for dogs, ensuring their well being, and then re-homing them to loving homes. I had the fortune to volunteer for a day at the Dogs Trust in June as was amazed at the love and affection all the employees had for the animals. None were mistreated, and although some were in the naughty cornerit was more for their own good and protection of the other dogs than for any punishment. I had assisted with some horticultural work to enable the Dogs Trust to promote a fete to bring much needed income to the farm to allow their continued excellent services to carry on.
