The Stupid Factory store name was interesting. What caught my eyes was a sweater that had this saying, "I'm Not Old I'm Vintage". How cute is that! I thought it was so fitting for me since I was going to turn the big *0 later in 2023 LOL so I had to check it out. It's not a very big store, but they pack it with lots of shirts and sweaters that had some absurd quotes, some thought provoking sayings, some smart words, and you name it phrases. I was chuckling along the way from rack to rack. As I made my rounds from front of the store to around it to the front of it again, I finally saw the sweater that I saw at the window. Unfortunately, they did not have my large size LOL. They only had small size and I cannot fit a small... it won't go over my head LOL. I was not a happy camper at the time, but then I got over it. I probably don't want to call myself "vintage" because I'm not that ancient yet LOL. I did end up buying one medium shirt. I normally don't get medium, but I was thinking of my eldest daughter so I gave it to her after I got home. It's a very sassy shirt. She likes it. Staff was nice. Service was good. Prices were okay. Ambiance was fine... nothing extravagant. Another must visit when you're in Myrtle Beach! If you don't want to buy anything, at least drop by and read the shirts. Some are just hilarious! Others I can't vouch for... just not funny. Of course, the business would appreciate your support and patronage. Bring back a shirt souvenir... why not, you're on vacation! P.S. Ollie's is not quite Walmart and isn't quite a thrift shop. Everything here is brand new (or at least, not pre-owned) and while they do have some core items, much of the store is based on what they can purchase at volume for all their stores. Today, it was pillows for the RV and we not only found them, we had a choice for firmness. Mrs. K. picked out two she liked and then we found the pillowcases. It's hard to say no when two of them at $2.99. Definitely cheaper than Walmart! I'm so glad we stopped in here. That is to say, there's not a TON of good stuff here. I did get some amazing candles from Green Sea Candle (the woman who makes them traveled from miles away) and will definitely return here sooner or later just for those! They smell incredible, and my purchase came with a free homemade car freshener that also smells just like pumpkin pie dangling from my windshield. I also got two purple goblets from some random vendor, and they were kinda cool for the vision I have for my future dining room. Would I frequent this every weekend -- no. It's not that big of an event. But I'm happy I went and checked it out.

The second time this past week, I purchased a single chair and they helped load it into the car and made sure it fit nicely so the hatch would close. The customer service in both cases was very good. No one followed me around the store or pestered me into buying something. I did ask about furniture removal and I think there is a charge, but they will help arrange it. I would use this store again in the future.
