The office staff was friendly and helpful. Saw Dr. Michael John Morgan for a cardiac work up, loved him. He was awesome. Staff doing my testing the treadmill, the cardiac ultrasound were all excellent. I am a retired nurse. read more

Was referred to Biltmore Cardiology. Had several appointments, and then was instructed that a scheduler would contact me. No calls no emails for several weeks. Can't leave messages on the web portal. Finally got a call from Abrazo Heart hospital financial department regarding my "upcoming visit" which was never scheduled with me. No phone calls no emails. In the mean time - visited another cardiologist - got me in the next day, and scheduled me for a cardiac catheter immediately. Bad business, won't recommend. read more

My husband is still in limbo with this clinic. He was told he should be dead with his heart, scheduled a procedure and has been sick ever since.. We have notified the office with the response being they will call us back only to NEVER got a call back.. Going on week 2 with no news,NO call NOTHING..I only hope that when the table turns and it is one of their own whom is sick that their doctor will be more compassionate towards them.. My husband got his labs done with it being marked HIGH RISK on results and have yet to speak to his Dr. on this matter!! Dr. Cool. The front desk girls are RUDE,NOT helpful very UNPROFESSIONAL.. read more

Sadly as the saying goes, horrible experience everyone will know. Our old Cardiologist left, Dr Cool, and Dr Jebaily left a horrible impression on my 81 year old friend that I went into the appointment with! He decided to scream and yell at her, I should have taken out the phone and recorded it, but was rather shocked at the whole situation. She wishes that she would have walked out, however was rather in shock as well, needless to say, there will be no further appointments with that person! read more

A significant lack of communication further exacerbated the situation, leading to a highly frustrating process. Overall, it was a very poor experience. Additionally, the staff exhibited unprofessional behavior, including casual conduct such as eating during business hours. There was a complete absence of follow-ups or contact. I strongly advise against utilizing their services unless the procedure is very simple, such as spider vein treatment. Furthermore, upon our initial visit, we were informed that our insurance was not accepted, though they indicated it would be in the future. They stated they would send bills but assured us we wouldn't need to pay them, which raised concerns about the legitimacy of their operations. Now, they claim they cannot assist us because our insurance is not accepted. Curiously, the front desk staff made a snide remark about my mother's cancellations and even laughed, which was highly unprofessional.

I started to develop symptoms, so my husband, children and I thought it was best to get tested as ASAP. We found Dr. Michel's office through the Gila County Health Department. I am SO glad we did. They ran car-side COVID tests on each of us, including the kids. They were extremely friendly, helpful, reassuring, and informative. It was a very nice experience, especially under the circumstances. If we lived in the area, I would certainly want to be treated by them. Based on my earlier and subsequent appointments I would strongly encourage perspective cataract surgery patients to go elsewhere. At my last appointment in April his staff conducted several assessments and measurements of my eyes. Most of the tests were inconclusive due to equipment malfunction and/or staff incompetence. They were unable to get conclusive or definitive information. Other staff members attempted to get the equipment to work but they were unsuccessful. Dr Risser explained it might be due to the degree of cataract density even though one of same tests conducted a few weeks earlier on the same equipment had no issues. I stopped seeing Dr Risser and went instead to Payson Eye Care. They were able to see me within just a few days and did the same tests and measurements using much more sophisticated and modern equipment. All of the tests were completely successful in minutes without any problems. Payson Eye Care does not do the actual cataract surgery but they have a strong relationship with two of the best cataract surgery facilities in Scottsdale and Phoenix. Dr Beeser, my primary contact, is amazing. Very knowledgeable, professional and attentive. He listened to my issues and explained everything in clear and understandable detail. If, despite my assessment of Dr Risser's office, you decide to go there I recommend that you bring a good book to read like War and Peace or the encyclopedia as the wait times are exhausting.
