I wanted to look for a home and needed a realtor. I randomly selected Kirk Despain. I sent him a…read moremessage and he responded within the day, if I recall. We talked about what I was looking for and he sent me a listing of homes in my price range. I selected a couple and he also suggested some that I might like. He was quick to set up homes that were still occupied so we could tour them. When I finally selected a home Kirk set up the home inspection with an inspector he works with. The inspector told us what he found and suggested things that could use some addressing. Kirk also set up sewer and roof inspections and paid them for me. I of course paid Kirk back later but point is he took care of them right away. We used what the inspection revealed to reduce the offer so we could have the sewer cleaned and roof underlayment replaced on a tile roof. Seller counter offered the amount for half the cost of a new roof and a sewer line drain snake and hydro jetter for credit at closing. The sewer clean out was under bid by $700 and Kirk was able to get me a reimbursement from them. Overall Kirk was extremely helpful and effective in navigating me through the process of buying the home. He is also very friendly and easy to work with. I had put my complete trust in him. He even gave me a house warming gift. I would highly recommend Kirk to be your realtor.
