A shout out to Billy Max RVs in Canyon! They installed an EQ Systems Smart Leveling System on our class C and did a great job. This is not a trivial installation, as it requires welding, hydraulic and electrical skills; many local RV shops don't even offer this service. Out at Palo Duro Canyon and our a/c started making a noise. Googled places around here to see if there was a chance our rv could be looked at on such short notice. My husband found Billy's RV and based on the great reviews he called and we were able to take it over. They are incredible friendly, very helpful for being so busy after a holiday. They provided coffee and snacks while we waited. They also have a store with a selection of items needed for your rv. Avoid Billy Maxx at All Costs Our experience with Billy Maxx was a disaster that ultimately ended in the total loss of our RV. From start to finish, the service was dishonest, careless, and unprofessional. We took our fully paid for, 2022 travel trailer in to have a broken window replaced. When we got it back, they had installed the wrong type of window -- a poorly fitted sliding window instead of the original single-hung style -- and even installed it incorrectly, making it unusable. Total lack of workmanship and quality control. When confronted, they falsely claimed the correct window was no longer available. We did our own research and easily found the exact match through a dealership. When I brought this to Billy's attention, he admitted they knew about it, had not bothered to notify us and had already "fixed" the incorrect window by rotating it, without consulting us. They knowingly misled us, avoided communication, and showed zero accountability. Just days later, a hailstorm hit, and our RV -- which should've already been home -- was completely totaled. We found out through a Facebook post, not from the shop. Billy didn't even bother to call us, and when I finally called him, he offered no help or compensation, only excuses. They lied, cut corners, failed to communicate, and cost us thousands. We'll be reporting them to the BBB and strongly advise everyone to stay far away from Billy Maxx. Had a great experience getting my Aquahot on my diesel pusher repaired there. Luckily just a broken fresh water connection that Austin found in a few minutes. Had us fixed in 45 min. and showed me some tricks/tips with the unit too. Not even an "hour minimum" labor charge. Was really impressed with Austin and the whole operation. read more

We had an electrical problem in our motorhome.  It only worked with the generator.  Billy was able to squeeze us in since we were traveling.  After some diagnostics, they replaced the transfer switch and had to removed the surge protector, which was also part of the problem.  With this heat, we are very grateful that they were able to help us at the last minute. We were just starting an extended trip headed to meet 5 other families in Yellowstone and on our first night stay just outside Amarillo our refrigerator would not light and stay on using propane. We showed up at Billy Max RV without an appointment and although he was swamped, Billy not only took the time to look at our rig but fixed it and had us back on the road in no time! We just showed up with a slideout problem that we knew must be simple but had outfoxed is. I wish I had got the name but someone came out, looked at it, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot (loose cable). He wouldn't take any money just wished us well. While traveling on a 30 day camping trip, the first campsite we stopped at our slide would not go out. We were close to Amarillo and called to find someone that could help us. Billy Max told us to bring it in right away. Even though he's very busy, he allowed two of his technicians to work on the slide. Even though the bigger jobs they usually have to send on,They worked on our slide all day kept it overnight, and finished the next morning. I could not have asked for nicer technicians, Chris and Austin, You two are super!! So very knowledgeable in what they are doing, explaining to me in detail what they needed to do. They said it turned into a lot more than what they had expected but they did not leave us stranded. Billy let us spend the night in the camper in the lot, hooked us up to electricity and water.The only thing I wish was different is that we lived closer so when I had problems they could take care of it. The first one I got voice message (he did call me back later and offered to try and help) next on didn't have time and the I called Billy Mack RV.
