Take note that they are open M-F only and closed on weekends so plan your next stop accordingly. They've got salads, soups, wraps, sandwiches, pizza and more. Just a reminder everything is fresh daily and homemade! It's great if you are headed to the lake or in a hurry as they also have grab and go items in their display cases. If you decide to "eat in" there is plenty of seating inside. Oh! And I can't forget to mention this is located inside the "Melrose 1 Stop". They offer full service at the gas pumps at no extra charge. Stop by soon and you'll be greeted with a big smile from Bitzy's staff.

We turned around and drove back as we wanted something home cooked and light before getting into Alex and having dinner. We drove past Bitzy's as the branding is all Sinclair. Melrose One Stop appears on the door in faded letters. On the third pass we found it Super friendly staff explained lunch/dinner is the big meal served until 2 pm. We grabbed a Hickory bacon Chicken wrap, two built to order beef soft shell tacos and a bag of cheese curds. My son reports the wrap was very good. The tacos were simple American version but very tasty and good propositions. My wife said the cheese curds did NOT make her teeth squeak. I highly recommend sticking with the Bitzy branded goodies. I believe the Bitzy stuff is made on site. PS My rating is relative to the value and price of the food. The diner is set up in a convenience store. PSS Thank you Bitzy!

A clean place to stop along hwy 25 to fill up your tank (both car and stomach), stretch your legs or use the restroom. Offers affordable Marathon gas. I filled up for $2.83, when gas in the TC is over $3.00. They offer both a fridge for a grab and go deli sandwich or yogurt parfair, but also have a hot counter if you wanted a cheeseburger, chicken strips, or pizza. The owner and the help are friendly, and are really trying to keep this place a destination for both the locals and the weekenders. They were set up for trick or treaters tonight (Oct 31), and planning for a deer hunters give away for hunting opening, and have plans for a Ladies give away raffle in December. And more community events in the parking lot for next spring and summer. Wish them all the success a new business needs.

If you were heading up north and needed stuff for charcuterie on the boat, you could definitely stop here.
