The owner, Wally, was insultingly dishonest and didn't own up to the fact he messed up our work order. He basically didn't process the work order correctly and built the wrong boat. He told us he could easily sell this boat to another customer if we don't want it (at full price probably) because he didn't want to honor the discount we agreed to at the show. He accused us of never ordering the t-top cover and any of the color request we wanted - classic bait and switch. If you're considering purchasing a boat from them, i would HIGHLY recommend you to think again. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, disrespect and time. There's so many other options out there. I hope they don't bother attending next year's boat show since they can't deliver the correct final product.

Don't trust this Brokerage period!…read more I contacted a broker named Sarah Strauch at Eastern Yacht Sales in the Hingham MA office on April 20th 2020 seeking to purchase the deep draft Catalina I've been searching for. I got nothing but excuses about how busy she was, late call backs and essentially the run-around. I specifically requested she provide me a purchase & sale agreement and was prepared to make a full price cash offer. She complained the weather was bad, she was moving, bla, bla, bla... Finally on May 1st she promised to send me a few photos and connect me (on Sat.) with her in-house mechanic that had supposedly evaluated the engine on a start-up test - a contact I had requested and send me the PSA. By this time I was beginning to think "sure lady - in between surveying your friends that might be interested in a great insider deal". Sure enough the contacted me with this message: Sorry but received an offer from a local guy that has seen the boat and will be closed within a couple of weeks.
