Avoid this group unless you want them sneaking a smoke or a vape in your home as well as the fact that they find ways to add on to their original quote - especially with the scare tactics of making people feel unsafe with electric concerns, like they are the only ones who have a knowledge of wiring and electric. Horrible experience with these guys. Apparently there is a big disconnect between brothers. Ron came out to give us a quote on installing a heater/fan/light unit in our bathroom. Quoted $600 and I approved. Told us we were on the schedule for 11/21. That morning I called to see when they would be out and, apparently we weren't on the schedule. Geoff (Ron's brother) showed up with a helper about 2 hours later, but obviously didn't know what Ron and I had discussed. He cut hole in the ceiling in the wrong place, brought a much bigger unit than we needed and proceeded to run a new circuit which was a necessary part of the job. They left early saying they needed to get a missing part. They left a total mess in the bathroom with insulation all over the floor and in the shower and no electricity in bathroom or master bedroom. Also, wires were run so everything would work off one switch which is not the way we discussed with Ron. Ron called the next day to tell us we could turn on electric at breaker box, but exposed wires were hot. I could see the job was getting to be bigger than expected so called Ron to see how much this was actually going to cost and also to make sure they would use the right sized unit and move it to the place we'd originally agreed upon. We agreed on $800 total, but the next morning Ron called to tell me to find someone else to finish the job since they no longer wanted to work on it. Told us we owed them full $800 and could return the unit to Menard's for a store credit since they had the receipt. I didn't want a store credit since we don't shop there and told him he could pick up the unit himself. Eventually they sent an invoice for $518 to cover work already done, but said we could deduct $300 if we didn't use the unit they left at the house. We sent them a check for $218 and told them to pick up the unit. It is still sitting in our garage 3 weeks later. If you like shoddy work and getting blamed for someone else's problems, then give these guys a call. If you want the job done right, call someone else. read more
