He had a question and the woman who answered the phone said she would call him back after she talked to the barber and never called him back. When my boyfriend called to confirm they said they already booked someone else! When he FINALLY spoke to the original woman on the phone she replied with, "I'm sorry, what are you not getting?" HORRIBLE customer service, and would NEVER go back. Too expensive and the job done the first time wasn't even worth the money. Thought he'd give it a second chance, but not this time!!!

If I could give no stars at all, I WOULD!…read more Very disappointing experience. I was extremely uncomfortable with the way I was treated during my visit. Instead of being respectful and professional, the barber made rude and hateful comments about my hair and was rough with it (specifically the barber at chair 4). There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be made to feel embarrassed or disrespected while simply trying to get a haircut. I would not recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a welcoming and respectful environment. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, my experience here was completely unacceptable. I hope others think twice before choosing this place. Absolutely trash!

The haircut gets a 4 out 5. Service 5 out of 5.

Very comfortable , nothing fancy, atmosphere. I asked for a head shave ( no straight edge though) beard, eyebrow and mustache trim. Carl did an incredible job-truly the absolute best beard trim ever. As my beard lengthens, it gets curly on one side but not the other. Carl has been on the job at Phil's since 1965!!! I told Carl I was 7 years old in 1965 and Patsy Menilllo was cutting my hair back then. Carl chuckled and shook his head. Carl, total pro, wrestled the uneven, mismatched mess into something that I have always had a difficult time receiving: A beautifully structured beard. I will be back in a few weeks for another trim. Total charge: $25.00 I have paid more to have someone (at a chain) trim my beard while watching the Simpsons...not-kidding Credit cards or cash - ATM on site. $2.50 service charge
