The prices are good, and they have special offers for students. I haven't tried any of the food yet, but i heard it is pretty decent for a place like this. They also offer snooker, darts and airhockey. Five plasma screens above the bar let you follow different sport events. Alternatively you can look out the banks of windows where you can see half of Darmstadt. Or you go out to the atrium, which is also the smoking area, and watch the stars on a mild summer night. They even paid attention to details in the rest rooms, and therefore everything just feels right to me here. I just wish the stairs wouldn't have this horrible smell of varnish, but this surely wasn't their fault.

The hall itself is in the basement, which I didn't like at first, but then I remembered that sunlight is the enemy of good pool players since it creates uneven lighting. Not fancy and unpretentious, it is clean space filled with tv screens showing soccer matches and walls lined with billiard themed posters and advertisements. I played some members of their billiard club so I was able to play on one of their 6 premier billiard tables with Simonis cloth and Aramith Belgian balls with the 6-dot cue ball. I wound up paying a little over 16 euro for over 4 hours of pool which is not bad, but I would recommend getting membership to this place if you will be in Frankfurt for a while since 25 euro a month gets you unlimited play. Also, they have 3 snooker tables and one Russian billiards table. Drink prices were excellent. I had 3 large beers and my drink tab was less than 10 euro. All in all this is an excellent establishment for serious pool players and not a bad place if you want to hang out and have drinks with friends.

The music was 90s R&B which was perfect for the atmosphere. I spent over two hours just relaxing and listening to the music. Would definitely go back again.
