GM needs to pay a visit to service department. They could not fix a 2019 Yukon that stayed at their shop for 7-8 weeks. Finally after numerous texts and emails and taking a day off of work and meeting with the general manger ( who says he has no control over service department) and having to purchase unnecessary parts they admitted they did not know what was wrong with it. We had a wrecker pick it up and carried it to an individual that fixed it in less than 1 week. Do not waste your time or money with these people!!! read more

The worst customer service with a dealership I have ever experienced. I bought a truck in 2022, and it has been in their shop 7 different times due to it being under warranty. 2 of those times being long term transmission replacements. * Poor Experience Number 1 For the first transmission replacement the truck went to their shop, and I was told the truck is good to go and that they trusted the truck enough to drive it anywhere. I then drove to military training 3 hours from Cullman in said truck and it broke down. It cost 900 dollars to get it towed back to their shop and another 300 dollars to have a rental for the military training I was attending. Neither one was reimbursed by the dealer, and I was laughed at by the technician manager when I asked for reimbursement. * Poor Experience Number 2 I asked for a loan vehicle on the first repair (speedometer cluster) and was told loan vehicles are only for engine and transmission jobs. My transmission has been out twice, and I have asked for loan vehicles both times just to be bounced around by technician-to-technician manager telling me that they can't give me one. I am now 3200 dollars in the hole for rental vehicles due to their inability to provide adequate customer service. * Poor Experience Number 3 After persistent problems with my current truck, I decided it may be best to start new and trade into a new truck. Due to the ease of finance transfer I thought maybe I could trade through Bill Smith as I have been a long-term buyer there. I was offered 11 thousand dollars below Kelly Blue Book Trade in Value for my truck and criticized by the salesman when I discussed I have done my research on the value of my truck. In conclusion, I would never recommend Bill Smith to anyone that I care about and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I am going to state that Jordon is the only reason for the fifth star. He went above and beyond, and the suv was not in a presentable state. It had looked like someone had taken it home and went off roading.. having said that we did not see it in a clean state. And as all car enthusiasts know.... off roading meant scratches. He assured me that it would be washed and buffed if there were any scratches. They delivered the car 2 days after we purchased it due to the volume they sell at. Once they drove it from Cullman to Hoover I had a chance to check the vehicle over.. it was at 99% as I found a few remnants is scratches. Nothing that I could not correct with some fine polishing. So now let's talk about the purchasing process. It took about the average time at other car dealerships, but here they only have one finance person... he was pretty quick as we had 2 in front of us.. so we waited around 30 minutes. Jordan also stated the Bill Smith was the cheapest in the south he was not kidding. With the volume of vehicles they sell they are able to get better prices.. and since they sell over 350 vehicles a month.... they get the best deals.. So if you you are in the market for a SUV.. We were really happy with our experience here. This is a small dealership compared to some but they had plenty of people working for the year end sales. I looked at their inventory online first to see what they had. I was impressed with their selection and found a car I really liked. I also liked the pricing. My husband and I went to the dealership and asked to see the car I had seen online. Our sales person, Jordain, took us right to it. We went for a test drive and decided to buy it. We had to wait a bit for the finance manager because there's only one and the dealership was very busy. He was really nice and took us through everything. Once we were in his office, everything went fast. The car was really dirty on the outside. It looked like someone actually had taken it off roading which is pretty crazy for a brand new car. So we were worried about any issues under the dirt. They told us they would wash it and buff it and deliver to our door and if we weren't happy we could rip up the contract. True to their word they delivered it to our house over an hour away. The car looked great. Really happy with our purchase. They definitely made new car buying easy. They claim you won't find a better price for a new GMC anywhere and I think they are right! read more

I inquired about a truck on their lot the salesman told me they have it and we talked back-and-forth he wanted me and my wife to fill out the credit application so we can get the process started so we did. I did this in the morning he said would let me know later in the day instead I get a text message at 9 PM at night saying we sold it oh but we have this other one with less options and not what I wanted. I asked did you run my credit if you already knew this was sold he responded no which was a lie it is on mine and my wife's credit report they did run our credit knowing they already sold the truck. I have all in text messages. To me if this is how they run there Business I would stay clear too much shadiness going on! I'm disappointed to really liked the truck and wanted to do business with them then I got a message says he has a buddy selling a truck maybe I should go get a personal loan really? I'm disappointed I'm in my purchase. I realize it's a used vehicle but......  I traveled two hours to look at the 2013 F 150 I bought. I stopped on my way home in Elkton, Tn and on further inspection I noticed that one of the fog lights was missing. Fog light and the bracket/beazel was missing. I looked at the window sticker that was in my center console and it specifically said that it comes with "foglights" that's plural not a single foglight. So that's disappointment #1. #2: I have a Actron OBD II auto scanner at the house, wish I would have taken it with me, anyway I plugged it in and it says that's there's a "catalyst efficiency below threshold" (bank 1 & 2). The check engine light wasn't on however. That's in the first 3 hours of ownership! Day #2: The check engine light finally goes off. Plugged in the autoscanner and it was still the catalyst fault. PS: I was looking in the glove box and there's a receipt dated 1/05/21(replacement part 608326) from A-1 muffler shop which is for a catalytic converter limited warranty registration. I'm assuming that might be the issue I'm getting? I attached a photo of the receipt and sent it to them. So there you go. I went ahead and bought a new foglight and the bracket which I should have delivered by next week. The existing wiring is cut so I'll have to take it to a shop to have it installed for me. So I have emailed, left messages, talked to lady there and she said someone will get back to me. Havent received a call or email from anybody. I WILL NEVER buy from this dealership again. I can't even give them a one star rating since they wont talk to me but I have to just to post this. To me their customer service is the worst I have ever try to deal with. read more

They've had my new car for over 2 weeks waiting on a part to fix the trunk. During this time they punctured the tire. When I confronted the sales manager about this I was treated rudely and shown the door. I won't be back for sure and I wouldn't recommend anyone use this dealership for anything. read more

They treated me like I was unable to operate a car, and that I was lying. I bought a brand new car with what they claimed was 3 year or 36,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty, but when I had a problem the SECOND DAY, they fluctuated between implying I couldn't drive and that I was dishonest. They never, ever looked at my car, but checked out a DIFFERENT CAR and assured me that since the OTHER CAR had only minor difficulties, then my car had none. They then told me to contact GM. They do not stand behind their cars. Other issues resulting from their errors cost me an additional $100 that never should have happened, it was their negligence & heavy handed treatment that left me in the lurch. They don't care, they want the sale, once I signed the papers I was of no more interest to them. If they sell you a lousy car, it's your problem, not theirs. My wife wanted a truck and we went to Bill Smith in Cullman. We gave them our price range and they come up with a truck one after the other. Finally they came up with one my wife liked. The brakes supposeably needed done so they said the fixed them. Well we have had brake problems with this truck ever since we bought it and we asked them abouot it and they did not want to fix it even though driving the truck was unsafe. We did not shop around and wanted to buy from the. Come to find out we could have bought a newer and better truck for the same price. They over priced the retail of this truck several thousand dollars compared to other dealerships. I will nevr buy from them again. I travel all over the south and I make sure I let people know they are crooks and not to buy from them. read more
