I didn't want makeup and hair done as I don't wear makeup in real life, so why do it for the shoot? I was so excited when Tina didn't push me to make my shoot fancy. I was worried about getting the poses right, but she is great at directing you- even if you've never done something like this before. You can collaborate on a private Pinterest board so your inspiration and ideas are in one spot. She has lots of great tips to lead you in preparing for your shoot. Best of all, she is an amazing human and makes you feel comfortable from the start. If money were no object, I'd book another session with her immediately as it was so much fun and I have even more ideas for photos! We were hoping to get photos done before our son's 1st birthday and she was able to provide us with a great date/time option. We really lucked out. On the day of our shoot we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The drive to the studio was beautiful and worth it - we drove from over 30 minutes away. The studio was immaculate and ready to go for our time together. Her prep email was extremely detail oriented and let us know exactly what to expect. Once there we could easily see the setups and there was a perfect place for us to finish getting ready. Even though we brought most of our outfits she also offered an additional one for us to use and it photographed so lovely. Lastly, the cake smash session was literally the icing on the cake.
