My husband and I were moving from London to the Seattle area andhad no idea where we wanted to…read morelive. We started the process whilestill in London and chose a realtor based on our friends' very strongrecommendation of Alan. That goodness we chose him.
We have lived in Texas, London, Paris and even India. We have dealtwith realtors in each of those locations, and Alan Krell is by far thebest realtor we have ever worked with -- no one else even comesclose. He was completely dedicated to 'nding the perfect home forus. He knew the characteristics of every neighborhood, both inSeattle and all the surrounding areas, so he was able to help usnarrow our search very quickly. He kept our spirits up and our goalsrealistic. He also negotiated hard on our behalf, and as a result, weended up 'nding a great home in downtown Kirkland that 't all ofour criteria.
For me, the most important aspect of working with a realtor is theirability to negotiate the best possible deal for their client. Alan'sgreatest strength (aside from his character) is his ability to negotiatehard to get the best possible deal. When we bought our house indowntown Kirkland, he got it for us way under market in a timewhen housing prices were going up, not down.
Our friends have bought and sold four houses with Alan andabsolutely won't work with anyone else. (Neither will we from nowon...He's just that good.) Each time Alan represents our friendswhen they're selling a house he negotiates hard, getting more thanthey thought possible. And when they're buying a new house, he's apowerful negotiator from that end too.I think he's able to work such great deals because he stays calm andincredibly likeable in a negotiation with the other side, but he is justpersistent and believable when he says "This is just all they can do."
He simply remains committed to achieving the very best pricepossible for his clients and -- as a result, he does.Alan has an incredible work ethic. He's tireless in his dedication tohis clients. He genuinely wants them to love their home and theentire process. His ability to listen to the aspects of a home thatwere most important to us translated into our looking at houses thatreally suited us...not wasting our time looking at whatever had justcome out on MLS.
He is patient, he explains every aspect of the process thoroughlyand he makes the entire experience easy and fun. From looking athouses in person to handling the paperwork, his attention to detail isincredibly helpful. And he is a really fun person to hang out with. Infact, a lot of his former clients became his friends.
My husband and I have never worked with a realtor who was asgreat at every aspect of the job as Alan. He goes above and beyondfor his clients. Even after the sale, he has kept in touch, checking into see how we are doing and how we like living here. It's notsurprising that once they work with him, none his clients will everwork with anyone else. He is smart. His work ethic is incredible. Andhe makes looking for houses easy and fun, which in Seattle andKirkland is an almost impossible feat. I am so grateful for Alan.
