Upon entering, I talked with the owner, Jim, for a while and I loved his philosophy about kids and sports. My son works with Ryan. I can't say enough great things about him. He's not just a trainer, he's a great role model. I noticed right away that my son was making better nutritional choices, and his confidence improved too. Ryan communicates about training sessions so conscientiously, and he is extremely flexible. The other trainers (we've met Omar and John) are also very friendly and the place just has a great vibe when you walk in. I'm glad I found this gem of a spot.

However, I tried to call numerous times to reschedule a session for a better time when no one answered my various calls or returned my messages. I later received a call from Sam who accused me of not calling or leaving messages. He was rude and not helpful. Attached are photos of how many times I've called and left messages with no luck. As a patron of this business I would have appreciated not to be made out as a liar. Instead, it would have been great for them to understand that they actually do not have someone by the phones at all times and try to accommodate my appointment for my final two sessions that I paid for since this was an error on their part. Moral of my story- the customer should not be penalized for not using up the sessions in the package during the mandated timeframe when no one answers the phone when you call to set up an appointment. I would say, if you want flexibility and customer service this is not the place for you. They cheated my sister out of two sessions when we paid for 5. Put your time and money elsewhere.

The current manager, Janine, has consistently been rude, condescending, and disrespectful. One of the biggest issues involved my teenage son. Before bringing him, my husband followed every requirement the gym asked for. He provided his birth certificate, completed all of the required paperwork, and entered his information into their system MORE THAN ONCE. Despite that, every single visit became an interrogation. Janine repeatedly questioned his age in front of other members and ultimately refused to allow him to work out with my husband. It was embarrassing for my son and completely unnecessary. What made my decision to leave even easier was how I was treated during one of the hardest periods of my life. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I underwent a double mastectomy followed by a hysterectomy. My doctors prohibited me from exercising during my recovery. At the time, I had nearly 20 prepaid personal training sessions remaining. Despite my medical situation and documentation, Crunch refused to freeze my account. I lost the sessions I had already paid for. My husband and I both canceled our memberships on the same day. During his cancellation, Janine even wrote "child" as the reason for canceling. That was completely false. We canceled because of the repeated harassment and unprofessional treatment our family experienced every time we came to the gym. On top of the customer service issues, I overheard an employee say that a tanning bed had not been cleaned after a member used it, yet another person was still allowed to use it. The locker rooms were also consistently filthy. Losing the money I had invested in personal training was frustrating, but ultimately it was worth it to never have to deal with this management team again. Janine was never apologetic and never seemed interested in making sure members were happy. While I cancelled my membership I watched her talk down to employees, roll her eyes at members and just really be nasty all around. And it's pretty clear that the staff is not loving her either. She is definitely not an asset and i would put her in the same category as the parking-the absolute worst/awful and makes it not worth going there at all.

It ended up not being right for me because the timing of the programs and classes didn't work out. When I joined, it happened to be a challenge month for 3g classes. Meaning there were three types of workouts in the 50 minute rotation. Treadmill, rowing and floor with weights. I loved that bc I can't handle spending half of a class on the treadmill. I signed up and loved the first month. Then the second month went back to a more classic class schedule. I did not realize so many 3g class options was not typical. There were still some 3g classes but not within my morning availability. So it became all 2g, meaning half the class was running and the other half was rowing. I do like the rowing but running on a treadmill for 25 minutes is too much for me. There were other structured "upper body" and "lower body" classes but I could only make one due to schedule. Overall I think it could be a great program for those who like the structure. It just didn't work for me.
