Very nice, affordable, in-home hair salon. Alisha Johnson owns and operates Studio 3 in Northwood…read more She started her business about a year ago and remodeled the garage to accommodate a salon--complete with 2 tanning beds, hair care products, avon products and body piercing. I have always been impressed with Alisha's knowledge and skill with hair of all types. She will be honest and tell you if she thinks something won't look good or may damage your hair. She's cheaper then anyone I have ever gone to and you definately are getting more then your money's worth! You will not find these prices in neighboring bigger towns so it may be worth the drive (and gas money) to make the trip to Northwood and see what Alisha can do for you! She's also great with teens and very up to date with the newest styles and trends. With the constant changes that teens want to make, this is an affordable solution. I think she is open every day except Sun-Monday. She will also do hair for weddings and proms. She does a great job. I doubt you will find a better style, cut or price elsewhere!

And she is moving to a new location which sounds like its going to be better than what shes currently in. Unfortunately people in the surrounding area may hear differently due to an employee she had - he was terminated and has the "bitter I hate everything about you attitude" so of course this person is attempting to destroy an awesome business. This employee unfortunately also stole from us he took a deposit for a tattoo and claimed the $100 as a "tip" The owner was sincere and she not only took this persons actions in stride BUT she also is going to finish the tattoo. That just shows that the owner and current staff have nothing but their customers best interest at heart . I am very happy that this business is in our town and I can not wait till the new location opens, with what is all but described as a day spa for tattoo shop :O)
