He was the plumber…read morefor my apartment building and so when I purchased my home I called this business for several projects. Had no issues at all. However this wasn't my recent experience at all. I discovered a leak in my waste pipe in the basement last Wednesday. I called the office about 9am on Thursday and explained my issue to the office clerk....I was informed she would call me back to let me know what time Gordon could make it to the house. When I didn't hear from her about 12noon I called again to find out what was happening. At this point I was told he wasn't going to make it out on this day! She indicated he was a bit backlogged and I asked her should I call another company. I was assured I would get someone out to check out my issue in Friday. Well again I texted him about 8am to inquire the time of his arrival. Got no response. I called the office on Friday morning 9am to get information about arrival time. The clerk told me Gordon told her he would be out in the afternoon but no specific time. Based upon our past business I was satisfied with this answer. Waited until about 6pm to call him directly on his cell. Gordon again reverified my address and said he would be there in 1 hour. Well he NEVER APPEARED!!! Saturday morning I called his cell number at 8:30am and 11:05am with no response. I decided to call his office number and he answered...appears to have forwarded calls to his cell..... He sounded annoyed and told he "you need to talk fast because I'm in somebody's house." Well as you can imagine this response wasn't appreciated!! I told him he was supposed to be in my house and I had waited all day Friday and got no call about any delay..... He started to tell me about "the guys worked until late last night on a gas job"....."he had a list of 6 jobs to do" In response I told Gordon "all I needed was a call to tell me what was happening especially since I had been waiting since Thursday and hadn't taken care of my business waiting for him"....He finally angrily told me "I could go ahead do whatever I needed to do" and he hung up...I never heard from him again and no one from his business called. I guess he's gotten too BIG for small homeowners....wanted to support a Black owned business but I guess this is not the one anyone should support or rely upon......SO SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

I contacted Mr.Henry to do a small job which entailed fixing a sink. He came to my house to fix a…read morekitchen sink where the piping conducting water to the outside had become dislodged. The sink in question was of the variety that was attached below the countertop. After about 10 minutes he claimed the job was done and was paid. After he left I noticed a constant leaking from the same area that he had supposedly fixed. I called him and he came back the next day to correct the problem. After another 10 minutes, he claimed the job was done and requested more payment. The sink was now in a worse state than before. It was wobbly and unstable. He advised me that it needed some silicone to stabilize it and any further work would have to wait until he returned as he was going on a vacation. He did advise me to not place any heavy items in the sink or fill it to capacity because of a fear that it would collapse from the stress of extra weight. He offered no solution to fixing the problem. The sink was rendered unusable and I was obligated to contract with someone else to complete the job to satisfaction with an additional cost to myself. Never again.
