They are very accommodating and friendly. Their shop is like bike shops used to be: something for everyone, good service, not pretentious! Very refreshing compared to the corporate bike shops filled with bikes that cost thousands of dollars.

(At this point it's only been bike problems but they have been so good I may need to start asking for help on other issues!) I am a newbie and am slowly learning my bike. This past week I tried adjusting my derailer, which hadn't been working right since taking it to a different (closer) bike shop about a month ago. Needless to say I broke it. I brought it to trek because of my previous good experiences and damn, not even 30 minutes later my bike was fixed and running like it had been when I bought it. Now I can't blame my rubbing chain for slowing me down. ;) Thank you for going above and beyond in the way you treat your customers and the service you provide. As a nearing middle-age female, who is new to bikes, I've not been treated with complete respect in other stores. Every time I have gone to Trek I leave happier and with a feeling that the biking community is awesome.

The worst mechanics I've ever met. Once my gears exploded while in their care(how do you even do…read morethat?). When I went to get the rims on my bike replaced, they told me the wrong size of rims to buy when they encouraged me to buy them from Ebay, as their shop did not stock them. Earlier this year, they failed to fix my bike properly. When I noticed this and came back, they made me come back three separate times to see different mechanics, each of them without knowledge of how to work on an internal hub, and also telling me to see at least one of the mechanics that i had already seen previously(I didn't even get a refund). Terribly overpriced, but at least they put air into your tires for free. I hope they go out of business soon so a better shop can take their place.

I was researching different bike shops in Omaha and then Council Bluffs looking at different…read moree-bikes. I happen to call True Wheel and spoke to Steve. He had mentioned that he builds them. I was almost ready to order one through the mail that would have come from Canada called a Volte ebike and Steve was just so informative that I decided to drive over to Council Bluffs and talk to him about making me a bike. He gave me a great deal with a fair price. I got to say that he really knows his stuff. It took a little longer than I had expected for him to build it but only by a couple days. When I got there to pick up the bike he was making these meticulous fine tuning adjustments to assure that everything was in Tip-Top order. Since getting the bike 3 days ago, ive rode this ebike everyday, and have only needed to charge the battery the first night I brought it home. I think there is still 70 % on the battery. The funny thing is I have ridden a few e bikes in the past and I've never rode one as powerful as the one he built. I'm not saying it was cheap but this is truly the Cadillac of e-bikes. Every time I was in the shop I had seen many people come in and go out all of them seeming to have a great relationship with these guys that run to shop. They do know their stuff and I'm glad I accidentally stumbled into them.

Very happy to have the trike back, and the work is outstanding. I only wish we had been able to deal with the owner from the get go.

When the quote came around, the owner suggested hundreds of dollars in repairs. I gritted my teeth and agreed to it, hoping it would be worth it for our 430-mile bike ride ahead of us. It was not. The owner refused to give us a time he could do the repairs, even though we needed to be in Des Moines the next day, saying he would get it done "right away." We had to go to the shop twice the next day since he never called us as he promised to. When we finally collected the bikes, it was closing time for the shop and raining outside, so we couldn't take a test ride. When I finally got the bike on the road, I found he had botched the gears, reducing the functionality so only the bottom gears worked. I ended up having to do a week of biking across Iowa on low gears. Save yourself a headache and do not trust this shop with your bike.
