A charming little downtown as well as a great location on the corner. I walked in and was met with small town hospitality and a great smile. The coffee shop was quaint and cozy, and the kind of place that I would like to spend hours had I had the time. Lots of selections and everything sounded good, but I settled on a special that was made for me. It was a cherry Pepsi Americano float. It was delicious and packed full of cherry flavor. (They can also use other sodas!) I also got the lemon poppyseed bread, which made me happy. Next time I come through Iola or even make a day trip, I will definitely stop in and spend some time. They also have other food items beyond pastries and baked goods. Go grab a bite and taste for yourself!

This place has awesome burgers, homemade Suzy Q's are always a hit, and today we decided to give breakfast a try. My son got the bacon omelette. He said it was good, a little thin where as he likes the fluffy style omelette. I had the country fried steak, over medium eggs which were cooked PERFECT, hash browns that were so good, and toast. My son stole my toast but it was normal toast. I would get the breakfast again. The service is always great, refills in drinks, sauces or other needs are always met quickly. The place is old ya all, it's not a fancy place by any means but it's a delicious diner where the food is still an insanely great price. My breakfast was $10. This will always be one of our go to's when we go home to visit.
