From check in to the front desk employees to the concierge to the breakfast employees to house keeping. Everyone that works at this hotel acknowledges you asks how your day is going and makes sure you have everything you need. I've traveled all over and this by far has to be one of the best teams I've ever experienced. Beyond recommend this hotel.

After seeing many other hotel guests eat french fries in the same area, my (non white) employee was asked to leave. This seemed targeted and aggressive. The hotel refused to apologize, stood their ground that it's ok for some guests to eat in the yard but not others, and they can enforce on whoever they like. The Dylan should be ashamed and are an insult to the location's history of feeding the poor and elderly. Shame on them and shame on the general manager for refusing to even apologize. Seems their empathy is reserved for elderly, white guests. If you are against classism and racism, don't support this business.

The oysters, from Texel, were the biggest oysters I've ever had and were flavorful without being overly salty or strong. The lamb was from the island, too, and I was told that they use all cuts of the sheep, which is why you get a selection of different cuts (each was near different sauces on the plate, so you could see which cut went best with which sauce). The meat was tender, and though it didn't even need them to be delicious, I enjoyed the sauces that went with it (and the crunchy coriander that was on one of the cuts).
