This was one of the best dinners of my life so far! The host greeted me by name when I walked in…read more(since I was the only person who had made a reservation for one and the only person having made a reservation in English). The oysters, from Texel, were the biggest oysters I've ever had and were flavorful without being overly salty or strong. The lamb was from the island, too, and I was told that they use all cuts of the sheep, which is why you get a selection of different cuts (each was near different sauces on the plate, so you could see which cut went best with which sauce). The meat was tender, and though it didn't even need them to be delicious, I enjoyed the sauces that went with it (and the crunchy coriander that was on one of the cuts).
