She left feeling singled out, embarrassed, and humiliated over a routine purchase. What makes this even more concerning is that we've heard from others who claim this isn't an isolated incident and that people of color are being asked for identification and ID scans in situations where other customers are not. If that's true, it's deeply troubling and raises serious concerns about racial profiling. Whether this was the result of poor training or intentional conduct, no customer should ever feel targeted because of the color of their skin. Businesses have a responsibility to treat every customer with fairness and respect. I sincerely hope corporate investigates this location, reviews the surveillance footage and employee conduct, and takes appropriate action if these concerns are substantiated. Until then, I cannot recommend supporting this business.

It still serves it's function for bare necessities, but that's literally it. It's a little cleaner inside, but has less to offer. They also offer a small selection of cigars and they do have an ATM. However, it looks like their primary focus is on wine because they have quite a selection for the local apartment occupants here. Their prices aren't totally outrageous, and they are actually in line with your average convenience store.
