The owner was doing a simple repair, reattaching the an arm by screwing it. back into the base. The cost of $38 dollars became $145 at pickup. And thank goodness I took photos of the chair when I dropped it off at the warehouse showing the fabric was in perfect condition, no marks or stains. At pickup, the chair was covered in glue and black oil stains. The owner refused to fix it. I tried to take him some material. I tried to talk to him and recorded our conversations. He was rude and told me to sue him since he is retiring at the end of the year and closing. He got in my face and then slammed a door, hitting me because I wouldn't leave and kept asking him to work with me, knowing if I left, that chair was on me. Then, he got his keys and tried to leave and screamed he would back into my truck if I didn't move it out of the way. He was erratic. We finally left and took the chair. I have a damaged chair now that is badly stained all over and has dried glue in the fabric. My proof doesn't seem to matter and he could care less. This is a family heirloom. Please don't let this happen to you.

I was asking about them being able to troubleshoot the radio issues and off the bat, he went into sell mode. He then stated that they don't "repair" and only sell. Which is weird because many people had recommended them for their radio expertise and repairs. He again, stated that he didn't they don't make repairs, but then attempted to sell me a radio in excess of $1000.00 and I knew then this wasn't the business that I wanted, since I wasn't in the market for a radio and wanted to see options of repairing prior to replacing. I will say the guy on the phone was extremely polite and kind, but he was definitely not hearing me on just wanting solutions. If they only sell them my apologies on this review.

    Let me start by saying that Jason at Street Sounds in Nashville is a patient and good man…read more My daughter had an issue with her car at an oil change facility in town (Nashville), where things went extremely bad as they made a mistake that could have been catastrophic to the car's engine. They also disconnected the battery cable from the battery and evidently, that reset the car's (RAV4 2002) very old aftermarket security alarm. The alarm system kept activating the audible alarm and the car would not start. As she is traveling across the country, this all could not have happened at a worse time! I will spare some of the details regarding just how bad the day was. Suffice it to say, it was like a snowball rolling downhill gathering more and more snow. I looked up local alarm shops in Nashville, I am in California, and I came across Jason who was very willing to listen and help try to diagnose the problem over the phone. Jason understood the stress my daughter was under and he patiently worked with her and I over the phone in an attempt to resolve the problem with the alarm system. We eventually had the car taken to Jason's shop that same day and he was able to quickly fix things so that my daughter could get back on the road. I feel very blessed that we came across Jason and Street Sounds as they are honest, empathetic and trustworthy. He cared about a good outcome and made all the difference in helping to get to that end. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Jason.     Asked for a quote via Yelp, they told me I had to bring in the vehicle for an estimate. I did, and…read moreI'm glad I did because I don't like the way they conduct business - by bashing others. They say most places don't do the work properly and we asked how they would do it - afterward, I asked a few places how they would make the fix we need, and these other places said the same things. They also talked about how they only need the vehicle for 3-5 days and most places don't have availability and take the car for 2-3 weeks. I've communicated directly with about 10 spots and they all had availability in the coming week as well as taking the car for just 3 days. I know this is a sales technique, and I don't appreciate it. Not the honest way to conduct a business.

CHRIS helped me figure out a solution, which was a thin helix 10 inch sub box that fit perfectly behind the third row seat in the back. It fit great. Now that truck is not doing well anymore so I went to them again to ask how to get the equipment into my new truck and they help me find a solution for that. And even though the original estimate was too much for me to pay right now they found a way to, let me build the system overtime. They just put the touchscreen radio that was in my jeep back in my new truck and everything is very professional and done well. I look forward to getting the rest of the work done. They do an excellent job, and I highly recommend them.
