It's also a nice park to take in a beautiful sunset. We have plenty of those in the Sun City! :) It's also a nice park for walking. A lot of sporting events with kids and adults have taken place here...mostly soccer matches and baseball games. There's also basketball courts. I have/had an ex that would bring me here for picnics. I don't want to talk about that. Lol. I want to cherish the nice memories I've had with myself and my son here. This is also a good place for a picnic. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. Lost Kingdom is themed and has four water slides, a small lazy river, rock climbing wall, food court, and water basketball courts. The kiddie pool is great, shaded and has a few little things for the kids. Apparently they do special events for adults too. There isn't a lot of shade, unless you purchase the cabanas for like $100. They also charge a $20 cooler fee. Lots of parking, you can spend a few hours here.

I'm sure out tax dollars at work. it's a shame to let it go. the teams should be required to clean after themselves, it's only fair.

Kiddos and adults play baseball and soccer here. It's also a pretty good park for walking and running some laps. Some also come here to have a picnic or barbecue. I would say it's an alright park to bring kids to run around and/or have a picnic. Sorry, I can't recall if they have a playground...I want to say yes they do but don't quote me on it. Keep in mind...this isn't the best park in El Paso but it's also not the worst, either. It has lots of grass (I would hope so being a park!) and decent lighting for evening sporting events. Blackie Chesher Park is off I-10 when you get off the Zaragoza exit in the east side/lower valley area. It's across the street from a gas station and shopping center. You really can't miss it.

Once cars are parked on both sides of the street, there is not much room for passage. That said it is a nice park with facilities, and plenty of shade. One baseball field and a concrete pad.Todsy there plenty of folks grilling. Kids playing on all sorts of fields. Positive vibes. It's clean and everybody was friendly. Good times, great gathering spot.

Hidden gem, a sand volleyball court. During the summer we could use a little bit more shade but that is clearly a problem for all parks in El Paso. The Park offers beautiful grass landscape with small bushes and trees and a great surrounding view of our mountains.
