I took my wife's car to Happy Wallet because of their inexpensive oil change specials. Though we…read morehad an appointment we were told it was going to be approximately an hour and a half wait. This seemed like an unusually high amount of time for an oil change for someone who had an appointment. But we waited. Finally, the car was brought back to us with a laundry list of repairs they said it needed. We refuse the repairs, paid the bill and drove it home. The next day we started noticing oil spots underneath the car. At first, I thought maybe this was just residual oil that spilled on the frame or something with the oil change but as time continued, the spots kept getting bigger and bigger. See the picture below. Finally we took it to our mechanic to see what was the issue. He reported that first of all the wrong size oil filter was used on her vehicle. Secondly, when he removed that filter, he found where they had tightened it with probably a metal tool and put a small hole into the filter. This was the cause of the leak. The fix was in essence another oil change using the correct filter. We also had him go over the list of suggested repairs. He found no other issues with the vehicle. In full disclosure, Happy Wallet did refund what they charged me for the oil change. It was a nice gesture, but still didn't cover the time, diagnostic, and repair fees of my mechanic and what could've been catastrophic damage to my wife's engine. **Note** I was willing to give Happy Wallet a second chance. I called and scheduled an appointment for an oil change with Gloria for July 8th at 10:00 AM. Imagine my disbelief when I walked in and they couldn't find me on the schedule. I was told I could wait an hour and a half or come back at a later time. I just turned and walked out.

While they were busy, they managed to look at my car quickly, take out the nail, patch it and checked the other 3 tires. I was in and out quickly and the price was so reasonable. I definitely recommend them. Nice to know there's a reliable auto service nearby that offers professional service at reasonable prices.

I hate writing a review like this. Most of the time I would just rack it up and move on…read more A few months ago I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Arrived at the garage on time and went to the desk. The service writer (not the one I dealt with in the past) could not find any record of me being there in the past which I found puzzling, because I had been there with both my cars twice. Ok, chalked that up to a computer glitch. My Subaru outback is up on the lift for some time when the service writer present me with a $1400.00 estimate for tires, brakes etc.. Then the technician informs me that the oil drain plug was stripped by the previous person that did the oil change and was I willing to pay for a new one. I agreed. They then said they couldn't get it off, but if I was willing, they would try to chisel it off, but it might destroy the oil pan and I would have to to pay for it. I then said that they were the last one to do an oil change on the car and should look at the sticker on the wind shield. They then miraculously found me on their computer. I elected to not let them continue as I had lost trust in them. I went else where and they removed/replaced the drain plug with no problem. As far as the $1400.00 estimate, the other place said I had many more miles to go before I needed brakes or tires (2021 with 3400 mi).
