I had a very poor experience at this barber shop. After my appointment, I had to leave to retrieve…read moremy cash (my chip was not working) and returned maybe 5 minutes later. When I came back, I politely raised a concern about my haircut, specifically that he did leave a noticeable bald spot that I do not have. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the barber immediately became defensive, argumentative, and dismissive. Rather than listening or trying to understand the issue, he flat-out denied any problem and insisted that my hair was "thinning," which was both inaccurate and unnecessary. (All I did up to this point was mention what he did) I explained that I am very familiar with my own hair and would know if my hair was thinning, I want to also mention that I'm 21, but the conversation continued to be met with resistance and attitude instead of any willingness to resolve the concern. He then insults me saying "your hair is thinning everywhere". At no point did I raise my voice or act disrespectfully--I simply expected a reasonable, professional response. The interaction ended with me being waved off without any attempt to acknowledge the issue or offer any form of resolution. I'm not sure if it was because I'm Hispanic or if he's just a very upset human being. Other than that, the haircut still sucked, the lines weren't straight, you can still see the lines in my hair that he didn't fade out correctly, he also cut too much off the top.

My partner and I both came here separate before realizing we came to the same place! Their cuts are so clean and we've never walked out with a job we weren't happy with. Kristin was always so kind and open for what I wanted to do and I loved to just allow her use her creativity on my color and she was a wizard! She always nailed my color dreams! I would plan my day around getting it done whenever she could fit me in and was flexible with timing. The shop and bathroom were clean and stocked. I love the new age art look and all the products they use are right there along the wall and local! It's a great local-owned business and it's really easy to want to come back just for the good conversations.
