The short review: Don't expect the best or worst manicure or pedicure you've ever had…read more The long review: Maybe there are better nail salons in the area...I sure hope so. I've tried two salons and this is better than Q Nails. (That's not saying much. I could set up shop out of the trunk of my car and be better than Q Nails.) I've been to Ivy Nails about 4 times. In the past I got manicures from the man who owns (?) the salon and they were fine. Not the best, but fine. Last week I made an appointment for a much needed (both for the service and the relaxation) manicure and pedicure. When I got there a young woman who just graduated school in June began the service. She didn't really do anything awful, but other than having the polish changed, it was a total non-event. The manicure was pretty bad. She didn't file my nails evenly and one that had a little notch/chip wasn't repaired. Oh well. The whole thing was only $45 so I didn't feel *too* bad except for the atmosphere. For the love of pete! The shop is small and the man, aforementioned owner (?), appears to be addicted to the television. Every time I've been there the tv has been on and he spends a lot of time glancing up to the screen. I didn't care before because I come to get the service, not for riveting conversation. This time, though, the volume was loud, the show was The Talk, and there were 3 women and 2 little girls in the small space. The young woman who was doing my nails spoke in the softest voice ever and I finally just stopped trying to answer her questions. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. I don't think I'll go back. Better to go into my own bathroom, lock the door and do my own mani/pedi.

He did a design on my friend's nails that she saw online. He did it freehand and OMG! It looked like an exact copy. He is a really funny guy too. The girls that were there were great too. The one that did my nails took her time to make sure they were perfect. I highly recommend this place and I have had my nails done all over the country!

Both cut Men and kids hair and also do designs (player#, team name, etc.) This shop has a great atmosphere, and makes waiting for a hair cut an enjoyable experience! They are closed on weekends but do appointments M-Thur. after 5pm. This place even has a pool table!

Due to COVID, they are appointment only, have the stations & waiting area socially distanced, provide sanitizer, and use plastic shields between technicians and customers. They have a wide selection of colors to choose from. The shop was very clean and the technicians were very friendly and helpful. I went with a friend, and the lady hand-painted perfect snowflakes on her nails. Very talented. My only complaint is that my tech was a little busy for a few minutes in the middle of my manicure, and didn't let my gel cure for very long between coats. I was a little nervous about that, but so far they're great!! For a full set of acrylics with gel polish and a rounded shape, it was $43. A little higher than I expected to pay, but not too bad for a fresh set. I would definitely go back! I think they turned out great.
