The displays were nicely organized and beautiful but there were a few that may have been an issue for people with mobility problems to see. But most of the offending displays were obviously aimed to entertain children. The displays were also clearly marked and I spotted a few people who were wearing auditory tours. Parking in the main lot is a freaking zoo and I highly recommend skipping it and going straight to the auxiliary lot which is bigger and has a better layout unless you have mobility issues.

You don't go far into the mine. You do get hard hats with lights on them. The only tough part is walking up hill but they stop frequently enough. I'm not in great shape but it was a very doable walk uphill. A lot of kids and older people on the trail and nobody had issues. I'm not sure why they require special shoes but it's required.
