As a college student in a new town and someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, I believed him. The breaks didn't feel right so I ended up taking the car to a different guy and it turns out D&D didn't do a simple task to prep the car(a well known thing that a simple YouTube video even explains) and now my breaks and master cylinder are badly damaged. After going back and asking D&D to make it right, and even being willing to settle for just getting the $600 back I paid and not the $3000 it will take to fix the car, he told us to try and sue him cause he would obviously win and said that the issues were already there before I took it in(which doesn't even make sense considering I asked him to FIX my breaks). I called D and D and they came, towed my car to their shop, and figured out what was wrong and got me back on the road so I could make it home that same night. Otherwise I was thinking about renting a car and driving home and then back to pick up my car later (which is what I would've had to do with 2 other shops I talked to that day and would've been 3 hours each way). Also they are so warm and friendly and helpful. They even checked my fluids as they didn't want anything else to mess up my trip home and found that I was super low in oil so they replenished that as well for me. I really felt like they cared about me and really wanted to help me get home on my trip. Highly recommend them.

I pulled over and liquid was spraying everywhere over the engine. I added water, said a prayer, and endured a white knuckle ride along steep mountain roads with nowhere to pull over and no cell service. Thankfully I made it to the hotel in Gatlinburg where the rest of the coolant poured out of the car into the parking lot. I called Tony the next morning after checking out their reviews and he told me to drop the car off which I did at 10 AM. A few how hours later he had it diagnosed as a burned hole in a coolant hose caused by rubbing against the radiator due to poor design. I authorized fixing it and by 2 o'clock he had me back on the road for an extremely fair price. You do not want to pay dealer prices and these guys are very reasonable. I worked in a mechanics shop for 20 years so I know honest mechanics and Tony and Jim are it. If you have a problem with your vehicle in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville take it here. They were very friendly on the phone and were able to put a new water pump on my van that same day in 5 hours. I ended up already renting a van to continue our trek south and they were completely fine with me picking up my van 3 days later to drive back home. We had a 500 mile drive home and my van was completely fine. They did a fantastic job, were very reasonable with pricing, and truly know what they're doing. We were allowed to drop the trailer in the driveway and they immediately attacked the problem which was a blown radiator. In the process it was discovered the transmission coolant lines weren't salvageable. Before going home for the night, the owner called to insure we didn't need anything. In the morning, everything was put back together to include coolant lines the owner removed from one of his own vehicles. Who does that? Exceptional service for this day and age. The truck is a 2003 F350 with the 6.0 diesel engine and we were traveling from FL to MI. A wonderful place to break down. We were referred there by the local Ford garage.
