The ER crew and doctors were attentive and didn't take long to find out her health issues. She was admitted and had to stay until March 30, 2026. (With follow ups with her doctors within the week) She was placed in room 231. The entire staff were very good to our little Mama. From all of the shift nurses, PT, meals, housekeeping, and of course, Doctor "Dan" and Heart Specialist, Dr. Gubitosa -- and anyone else that I may have forgot to mention. They found the problems and took very good care of her. Her room was kept very clean and she felt very safe there. She did have a couple of favorite nurses, however, I cannot remember their names. (Morning crew shift) Just want to say thank you so much from our family. And yes, we live here in LaFollette. I had my daughter at LaFollette in 1979. So, I have watched and witnessed a lot of changes within this hosptital. We appreciate this hospital and it's staff.

The nurse told her the Dr isn't the boss we will get you a room when ever. I was treated the same way. I told them to discharge me I was going home after laying there for 6 hours and not seeing anyone. That nurse was hateful care was poor.

From the registration nurse to the ER nurses and attending physician, the staff was rude and dismissive to my wife and son. They rushed through the examination, failing to properly assess his condition. They attempted to use an adult-sized catheter on my infant, which my wife had to intervene to stop--a dangerous and careless mistake. The ER doctor (Dr. Mark Reiter) checked my son's ears and throat, claimed everything looked fine, and diagnosed a viral infection, advising us it would "run its course." Keep in mind that this Doctor is on the Executive Board of Middle Tennessee Emergency Physicians. Feeling dismissed, we took our son to his pediatrician the next day, who immediately noticed his throat was severely inflamed and diagnosed a severe case of strep throat via testing. The pediatrician noted that his throat was so raw it was surprising he could drink his bottle. This misdiagnosis could have led to serious complications if we hadn't sought a second opinion. The ER staff's behavior was unacceptable. They were socializing and appeared more focused on rushing us out than providing care. I'm pursuing a formal complaint with the hospital and state authorities due to this negligence and lack of professionalism. I strongly advise others to avoid this ER, especially for pediatric emergencies, as their care fell far below acceptable standards.

They took me right in and was caring for my needs. They were so kind and supportiv. They tried everything they could to stop the bleeding. Being a small rural hospital, they didn't have the staff to be able to fix my condition and had to transfer me. But there was nothing else that they could do. They contacted my original surgeon and was coordinating my transfer to Summit Hospital in Hermitage, TN who was on staff that day. I treated kindly and I really appreciated the care I received on a weekend. I made it just in time to have emergency surgery in Nashville.
