But a freind and I were going on a road trip to Astoria, when we ran out of gas, leaving us stranded on the side of highway 202... for six hours. Cops were a help, but didn't stick around to see that the job was done.. our battery was now super weak from having caution lights on all day! This extremely caring (older) gentleman stopped by after I flagged him down. He helped us jump our car and get out of the dingy forest that surrounds highway 202... I had a pre-built shed being delivered to my house in Ocean Park, looking at where I wanted to…read moreplace it the ground was pretty uneven. As an aging, not-as-nimble-as-i-used-to-be man, I called Wirkkala to see if they could build a gravel pad. The gentleman I spoke to said they do this fairly regularly, after giving the dimensions he did a quick 'back of the napkin' estimate over the phone, I said great, and provided a date I needed it by. A couple weeks before hand Eric and an assistant swung by to take a look, made sure we were in agreement with what to do, and a couple days later their crew was out 'getting-er-done', and viola, gravel pad. Nice and level, built to spec, did a great job tamping it down, and done ON TIME and at the quoted cost. Great company and workmanship, appreciate a 'handshake' builder. I made sure to pay the invoice promptly when it arrived. Would recommend and would use again.
