I was sold a bill of goods with this company. They don't even know what the 'END of the driveway closest to the house' means. They placed it smack dab in the middle of the driveway. And 'it' was a rusted out piece of crap dumpster that they had to come and use a crow bar to open the back access door - three days after it was delivered because they don't work weekends - even though they claimed I should have been able to open it myself. Really? They then fought my simple request for those 3 lost days of access to the dumpster added to my contract. Can you throw your trash 6 feet in the air to get in dumpster? Yea no. Then when it came to picking up, they didn't show up. Then didn't show up again. Despite my texts to make sure it was picked up and their promise I wouldn't be charged for their delay -- they randomly charged me two weeks later. Nice try - my credit card company fortunately read the texts we shared (save all your communication!) and refunded the random charge as deserved. read more

Big Red dumpster does not state on their website that they do not accept a check. When asking for payment I explained to them that it was an estate account and it did not have a "check card" associated with it. I told them that I would go with another company and then the woman on the phone told me to get a money order. Once again I explained to her it was an estate account and she kept pushing me to get a money order. I just hung up on her. Without posting it on their website had me wasting my time with them instead of going with another company. Pathetic. read more

Warning to all do not use this dumpster company find another one they are late, ignorant on the phone and they do not work with you at all. I've talked to them on the phone multiple times and then called a liar. They dropped my dumpster off late. They told me on the day it would be picked and then called back to tell me it would not. So it sat through blizzard and got 3 feet of snow on top of it. They only answer was to tell me to go cover it after the blizzard had already started and the dumpster was over an hour away. read more

Absolutely will not use again or recommend. I was quoted a base rate of $394.00 which included delivery/pickup, 14 days rental, and 3000#. The contract stated that I would be billed $140 for an additional two weeks and another $140 for an additional month. The dumpster was delivered on a Friday. My yard was damaged with ruts and driveway gouged but I did not complain. Two weeks later the phone calls started coming. "When can we pick up your dumpster?" Every Friday after, same call. Each time I told the caller that I would let them know but that I planned on keeping the dumpster for the full 28 days plus one month as I had a large project underway. Last Tuesday evening I got another call, this time from an unknown number, wanting an update on the dumpster status. I tried calling back but the number would not accept calls. Texts to this number could not be delivered. I sent an e-mail the next morning that provided a requested pick up in two weeks. I asked for a response, none came. Then, this past Saturday morning, the driver arrived to collect the dumpster. I tried calling their office but the call went straight to voicemail. A short while later I received an e-mail stating that they picked up the dumpster because they did not hear back from me. Really? Included with this e-mail was an invoice for charges well over what was quoted in my contract. When I called this morning to speak to a supervisor I was put in touch with someone that promised to let the owner know of my concerns. A little while later the same person that has been pestering me all along called to tell me that I would have to deal with her because "the owner does not get involved". She claims that the $140 for the additional month applies to commercial customers only - if so why is this language included on my agreement? She was belligerent. Their driver parked the dumpster on my garage door causing significant damage. I have pictures of the damage and witnesses. I called the company to fix what they damaged but they refused citing nonsense reasons. Not only did they damage my property and then deny it (remember I have pictures and witnesses!), but they are also late, rude, and unprofessional. Do not use them.
