I felt horrible missing it , and had apologized up and down for it, the office manager Jan, had absolutely zero sympathy or compassion for my situation and would not allow me to reschedule . How horrible to feel in pain like I have been in for months, now only for someone to make you feel worse even after a family emergency, and say go someone where else. It would have been my first appointment . I could understand if it had happened a second or third time definitely, but to be denied your first visit because of a situation how unethical and concussion uncompassionate and pathetic is that??!!! My toe was bugging me a lot and I couldn't get into my regular doctor so I Googled for a…read morepodiatrist. They got me in the next morning with Dr. Rebecca Sundling. She checked it out but had me get a few x-rays. It turns out I had fractured my foot. WHAT?! Who knows when that happened but she explained how that was affecting my toe and gave me a shot. So far, that's working great and I can walk normal without fear of taking that "wrong step". I'm giving 5 stars because she was not only quick at figuring out what's wrong but she was very personable. She even trimmed off a couple calluses for me. I also didn't have to wait long and every staff person I interacted with was friendly. In case anyone from Northwood Foot & Ankle sees this, thank you so much! :)
